Gasheizung im Schlafzimmer
Als wir am Leuchtturm ankamen, war die Person, die uns den Schlüssel übergeben sollte nicht erreichbar, ebenso wenig wie der Vermieter. Wir haben 1 Stunde in unserem Auto gewartet und nur durch Zufall kam ein junger Mann zum Leuchtturm der sich dort um den Garten kümmert und konnte uns in Sachen Schlüssel weiter helfen, weil seine Mutter das Ferienhaus putzt und somit auch einen Schlüssel hatte. Den besorgte er uns und wir konnten endlich ins Haus. Das Ferienhaus macht einen gemütlichen Eindruck, könnte jedoch sauberer geputzt werden, wie z.B. die Küche (besonders der Backofen:( Wir hatten das Haus für 6 Tage gebucht sind dann allerdings schon am 5 Tag abgereist, weil die Betten im Schlafzimmer (unterm Dach) total durchgelegen sind, ebenso das Lattenrost. Doch der Hauptgrund war die Gasheizung im Schlafzimmer. Sie sprang abends alle 2 Minuten an und das ging bis morgens in der früh so weiter. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken und das im Urlaub!!! Wir haben uns auch gefragt, ob es rechtens sein kann, das man eine Gasheizung mitten im Schlafzimmer aufstellen lassen darf. Das ist schon sehr ungewöhnlich und super gefährlich!. Desweiteren könnte der Leuchtturm mal wieder etwas Farbe gebrauchen innen wie außen, denn die Fotos im Internet scheinen schon etwas älter zu sein. Die Sauna so wie die Sonnenbank haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen. Für eine Familie mit vielen Kindern ist die Unterkunft nicht geeignet. Wir waren zu dritt und das war optimal.Wir würden dort kein zweites Mal Urlaub machen wollen!

free time activities: In Norddeich befindet sich eine Seehundstation und das Waloseum. Sehr empfehlenswert ist auch das Automuseum.
shopping facilities: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Apotheke, Bäcker, Tankstelle, Restaurants alles in unmittelbarer Nähe

Wochenende im Leuchtturm
Insgesamt eine Enttäuschung!!!
Das Duschwasser läuft nicht richtig ab.Im Wohnzimmer auf dem Boden lagert ein alter Computer,neben dem Bett im Schlafzimmer liegen übrig gebliebene Bretter und Fussleisten-Romantik pur- Zusammengewürfelte Möbel,Lampen Handtücher!!!
Sauna und Solarium wenig einladend!!!

Kurzurlaub im Leuchtturm
Der Leuchtturm ist sehr schön, jedoch auch recht klein. 3 Personen haben ausreichend Platz, für weitere Personen wird es sehr eng. Das Schlafzimmer in der Spitze des Leuchtturms ist nur über eine sehr steile und enge Treppe erreichbar (Achtung, Sturzgefahr für Groß und Klein!!!).
Das Schlafzimmer besteht aus einem Doppelbett, sowie 2 Einzelbetten, die aber so eng in der Dachschräge stehen, dass man das Dach direkt über dem Kopf hat, wenn man darin liegt. Wer morgens gerne mit den ersten Sonnenstrahlen erwacht ist hier richtig, es gibt keine Verdunklungsmöglichkeiten!!! Außerdem befindet sich die Heizungsanlage direkt neben dem Bett. Von Romantik ist hier keine Spur.
Die übrigen Räume waren dagegen sehr sehr schön und gut eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt.
Beim Thema Sauberkeit muss man sagen, dass es nicht wirklich sauber war (nicht gesaugt, Haare im Bad und Bett, Spinnenweben,...), daher ist ein Preis von 40€ für die Endreinigung nicht gerechtfertigt.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Ohne Auto ist man hier verloren. Der Leuchtturm steht zwar in einem sehr schönen und ruhigen Wohngebiet und ALDI LIDL sind auch nicht weit entfernt, jedoch wenn man etwas erleben will, muss man schon mit dem Auto eine gute halbe Stunde fahren.
free time activities: Norddeich hat einen wunderschönen Strand und man kann gut dort bummeln.
Ocean Wave (Spassbad), Abenteuer Minigolf, Seehundaufzuchtstation, alles beieinander gelegen und nur ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt.
Inselausflug Norderney sehr sehr empfehlenswert.
Es werden am Strand viele Wattwanderungen angeboten.
