The property is a heatable holiday home with a well-kept garden in a perfect location. The house offers an excellent recreational opportunity for couples or families with a small child who want to recognise the Velence Sea.
The floor area of the cottage is 40+30m2. It is Mediterranean style built, modernly furnished, exclusive holiday house where guests are welcome all year round.
The holiday house is situated in the centre of Agárd, 350 m from the lakeshore, from the beach. The thermal bath nearby offers a pleasant relaxation with its inner healing and thermal baths and with its outer adventure bath, with the many different healing therapies, as well as with the sauna world.
For an active holiday, there is a well-developed cycle path and numerous water sports facilities.
Restaurants are just a short walk away.
The holiday home on two floors offers space for 2 persons, an extra bed can be provided on request.
There are three houses on the large well-kept property. In one of the cottages lives the owner, who has a medium-sized, friendly dog that can roam freely on the property.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located on the southern shore of Lake Velence, not far from the town centre, beaches, restaurants.
Lake Velence is the green garden of Budapest. Fancy spa hotel, new beach baths and the most modern cycle path in Hungary invite you to actively enjoy this small lake with a surprisingly large offer. You can explore the 40 km of signposted attractions on Hungary's most modern cycle path, which circles the lake.
The Hungarians affectionately call it the little brother of the big Balaton. But large and varied is its offer for guests, whether they come for just one day or want to stay a little longer. It is considered the garden of Budapest and yet it is only half an hour away by car or train. Coming from the Hungarian capital, you first reach Velence, a pretty village with lots of greenery. in 2014, the newly built lido with white sandy beach and permanently anchored sunshades was opened. It is already called Hungary's Rimini, although Velence is actually called Venice. You will find two more beaches there: the city beach, for which a fee is charged, and the free wakeboard beach for the brave among us who want to swing on a surfboard and jump over obstacles.
On the south shore follow the villages of Gárdony and Agárd. In Agárd there is a family-friendly thermal bath with an exciting water playground for children. The adults can taste one of the more than 15 varieties of pálinka right next door in one of Hungary's best distilleries. It is made only from the best Hungarian fruit.
The public beach in Agárd right by the lake invites you to enjoy the water. Surfboards can be rented there. When the wind is good, kite surfers also take off here. This is followed by a protected reed and wetland area, which is designated as a bird sanctuary. On several observation towers you can watch the birds with pleasure. Don't be surprised if you also discover turtles and frogs.
The northern side is slightly hilly. On the Szúnyogsziget peninsula there is a historical open-air museum and one of the oldest csárdas in Hungary. Wine is also grown on the lake. If you want to learn more about it, you should visit the Bálint Borárium and Wine Museum in Pázmánd, which opened in 2014. The best way to discover all these attractions is by bike. The 40 km long cycle path is signposted in an exemplary manner: sights and tourist facilities are pointed out. You can rent bicycles at several places.
A visit is especially worthwhile in May, when the fish, game, wine and pálinka festival is celebrated in Agárd. It is unbelievable that so much can happen at such a small lake.
The "Lake of Sunshine" is the third largest natural lake in Hungary. Its popularity is also due to its very convenient location between the capital Budapest and Lake Balaton. Quite a few Budapest residents have a holiday cottage at Lake Velence and in summer the beaches fill up with day tourists.
Especially Agárd, Gárdony and Velence are the strongholds of water sports. This is also where most of the holiday homes and campsites are located. Agárd is also a well-known youth festival location in summer. In the southern area, Lake Velence reaches its greatest water depth of almost three metres.
Because Lake Velence, which is rich in fish, is otherwise very shallow, reeds cover about 40% of the water surface. This provides enough space and protection for a large bird reserve in the west of Lake Velence. For environmental reasons, the use of ship engines on Lake Velence is severely restricted, but many sailors and canoeists are out and about.
Thanks to the excellent transport connections, a holiday on Lake Velence can easily be combined with a visit to Budapest. The old coronation city of Székesfehérvár with its baroque old town is only a stone's throw away. And the remains of the ancient Roman city of Gorsium/Herculia are also within easy reach via the 7 motorway. The Romans already appreciated the climatic advantages of the sunny region around Lake Velence.
