Mursewiek is located on the western, quiet side of the island of Rügen, the holiday home is about 150 metres from the Bodden waters, just before the island of Ummanz with a view of the Bodden at the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park.
Our beautiful feel-good holiday home with thatched roof offers everything you could wish for a great holiday.
The house has a living space of 120 m², the plot size is 688 m² and offers space for up to 6 people.

On the ground floor there is a bathroom with integrated Finnish sauna, walk-in shower, WC and washbasin, on the upper floor there is another bathroom with bathtub, walk-in shower, WC and washbasin.
Terrace with lounge patio furniture and 2 sun loungers, beach chair, large lawn area, solid lockable storage space for your bicycles, motorbikes and sports equipment. 3 private parking spaces on the property.
Various board games for young and old holidaymakers are available.
There is a play box and books for the kids and a sandpit outside for digging.
On-site childcare can be booked by the hour by prior arrangement.

Location and surroundings of object
On the way to your holiday accommodation "Fischer's Ferienhaus Rügen" in Mursewiek, you will cross the longest bridge in Germany. The so-called cable-stayed bridge crosses the Strelasund between Stralsund and Altefähr over a length of 2830 metres.
Coming from Stralsund, take the B96 towards Bergen and take the Garz/Samtens exit. Turn left towards Samtens and drive straight on in Samtens towards Dreschwitz/Gingst/Insel Ummanz/Mursewiek. In Gingst turn left in the direction of Ummanz/Mursewiek.
From Greifswald you can take the Glewitz car ferry, then drive via Garz to Samtens and continue in the direction of Dreschwitz/Gingst/Insel Ummanz/Mursewiek (see above).

In Gingst there is a supermarket with an integrated bakery for your fresh breakfast rolls and other groceries.
Café Ummanz and the garden café Zuckerkuss (Wusse No. 11) invite you to enjoy home-baked cakes and tarts.
Directly at the harbour you will find a restaurant with daily changing fresh fish offers from our own catch and other home-style dishes (in the summer months).
Would you prefer to catch your own fish? = On the doorstep, approx. 200 metres away.
In Waase (approx. 350 m) you can also hire a fishing boat.
You can also hire a pedal boat or a motor boat (without a boating licence up to 15 HP).
The Kliewe adventure farm is within walking distance and the Lange adventure farm is 2 km away. On both farms you can enjoy home-style cooking, much of it from our own production.
In the farm shops you can buy many home-made delicacies and groceries.
There is also a great programme for small and "big" children.
In the immediate vicinity (approx. 450 m) you can go swimming (small natural beach in the summer months), in Suhrendorf you can go swimming, surfing and kitesurfing.
Or visit the beautiful sandy beach of Prora and enjoy a nice long swim here.
Directly at our holiday home (100 m) also leads the Baltic Sea coastal cycle path
and the Rügen round trip with a beautiful section over the island of Ummanz. 4 adult bicycles are available on request for a minimal fee per week.
(Bicycle hire in the immediate vicinity).
Golfers can enjoy their hobby on the Schloss Karnitz golf course or on the golf course in Sassnitz with a view of the Baltic Sea.
The island of Rügen offers countless opportunities for all kinds of activities.
For example, be sure to plan a visit to the world-famous chalk cliffs, Königsstuhl in the Jasmund National Park, and take a ride on the Raging Roland (historic narrow-gauge railway).
In the summer months, a visit to the Störtebecker Festival is highly recommended.
Or visit the car-free neighbouring island of Hiddensee.
