Description
The house has 1,5 floors and garden to the south side. On the first floor there is a coatrack, guest WC with window, storeroom with washing machine, kitchen with dishwasher, oven, cooker, microwave, fridge with freezing compartment, living room with a spacious table with 4 chairs, leather sofa, TV, shoe cabinet. On the upper floor you'll find the master bedroom with a king size bed (2 x 90 x 200 cm) and a cupboard, the second bedroom with 2 twin beds (90 x 200 cm each) and a cupboard. A shower bath with a window is also on this floor.
In the garden you'll find 4 garden chairs, 2 sun loungers, a garden table, a parasol and a small grill.
A parking space directly at the house as well.

The semi-detached house "Haus Marion" is located in a holiday housing area in Neßmersiel at the East Frisian North Sea coast.
The distance to the beach is about 2,7 km from the beach and harbour (here you can take the ferry to baltrum for a daytrip).
In the main season you'll find a bakery, a grocery and restaurants in the holiday housing area.
Take a relaxing walk or bike ride sheltered from the traffic on the dyke and explore the area from here.

Urlaub mit Hund
We stayed with our dog at Haus Marion in May 2022. Mr. Kaßler was very friendly, as was the caretaker. Everything was as described. We had nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

Everything you need in the household is available and in order. Shopping and dining options nearby. A beautiful, quiet, and relaxing holiday with lots of cycling and excursions; gladly again.

We will be brief:
no personal key handover from management
had to arrange to get into the house upon arrival
Exterior grounds overgrown, terrace therefore not used
Inside the house: very dirty, with the feeling of needing to clean immediately

Schöner Urlaub
I cannot understand the bad reviews. The accommodation was exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. It was equipped with everything necessary. The landlord is super nice and always available. He gave tips on excursions, and if there are any problems with the accommodation, you can address them with him, and he will find a solution. We could reach many excursions and sights directly from the accommodation (we had bikes). The restaurants: all very good and within walking distance. All in all, we (2 adults and 2 children, 9 years and 17 years old) had a lovely, relaxed holiday. We would definitely come back.

Holiday home Marion
From 24.07.-07.08.2021 we spent 2 relaxing weeks in Nessmersiel, a small quiet place on the Wadden Sea. With borrowed bicycles (2x bicycle rental on site) we could explore the closer surroundings of Dornum, Dornumersiel. We felt comfortable in the holiday home "Marion" even when the weather was not as good as we had hoped. From Nessmersiel you can take the ferry to Baltrum.

Vacation?
Sofa broken, bed broken. Sofa should be replaced, was not; bed was assembled. House minimally equipped. Holiday there, no thanks.

Wir weisen in dem Anschreiben bzw. der Infomail immer wieder darauf hin, uns direkt bei Problemen anzusprechen, damit wir diese schnellstmöglichst beheben können. Am Ende der Urlaubszeit bringt es leider nichts mehr.
Nach Rücksprache mit der Verwalterin wurde der geringfügige Schaden am Lattenrost des Bettes umgehend repariert. Die Lehne der Couch wurde von einem vorherigen Gast beschädigt. Die Couch selbst kann aber uneingeschränkt genutzt werden. Wir haben ein neues Sofa bestellt. Dieses hat leider eine gewisse Lieferzeit.
Dann haben Sie sich bei der Verwalterin beschwert, dass es keine behindertengerechte Wohnung sei. Es handelt sich nicht um eine Wohnung sondern um ein Haus. Die Fotos sowie auch die Beschreibung des Hauses weisen auf 2 Etagen (EG und OG) mit Treppe hin.
Wir haben eine große Zahl von Gästen, die das Haus schätzen und jedes Jahr sehr gerne wieder kommen. Wir wissen auch nicht, was an Ausstattung fehlen sollte. Das haben Sie leider nicht aufgeführt. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Goldene Wasserhähne fehlen leider noch.

Everything is fine
We were at the holiday house with our dog from the end of August to the beginning of September. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The landlord and the caretaker of the house were also very friendly.
