The Holiday home

This is a wonderful Majorcan countryside house. It is very well preserved and it has all the comfort to make your holiday an unforgettable experience! The ‘possessió’ of Son Caldes is located near the town of Llucmajor and is more than 500 years old, which enhances the attractiveness of the place.

The main building has three en suite bedrooms, a spacious living room, dining room and a fully furnished kitchen with capacity for all the guests. Some old features of the house have been very well preserved. At the same time, the house is equipped with new electrical appliances, air conditioning, central heating and a mix of new furniture with some restored pieces. There is a wine cellar as well where you will be able to see some hand-made barrels, which were made more than 200 years ago!

In front of the main building you will find another house which is part of the whole group. This is a 2-storey house which has a very well decorated living room, a fully furnished kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor. On the loft there is a bedroom, which is opened to the living room, with closet and two single beds. This building hasn’t got central heating, but there is a fireplace and air conditioning that maintain the perfect temperature all year-round.

Outside the houses there is a big terrace and the pool area where you can refresh yourself during hot summer days! The terrace is furnished with tables, chairs and sun beds to enjoy dinners with family and friends or just relax sunbathing. There is a natural Mediterranean forest area and views to the countryside from everywhere!

A short drive will take you to Palma city center or to beautiful beaches as Es Trenc, Cala Pi and Sa Rápita. The town of Llucmajor is just 1.5 km away and you will be able to find facilities as local markets, supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants.

This house is a charming place which is a little part of the history the island. At the same time, it is adapted to nowadays life and it has the comfort and personality to be the perfect place to spend your holiday! Do not hesitate to visit this vestige of the Mediterranean!

Note: We cannot accept guests under 25 years old, unless they are accompanied by their parents. We need copies of the passports of all guests in order to accept the booking.

The Ecotasa (tourist tax) must be paid cash on site when checking in. The amount varies between 0.55€/night and guest during the low season and 2.2€/night and guest during the high season. The tax is reduced by half from the 9th day of your stay. All guests have to pay the Ecotasa, except people under 16 years.

You will have to pay the deposit amount at the arrival to the owner.
Guests will receive an email 7 days prior to arrival with mandatory general deposit payment information. The deposit is payable by credit card via a secure link within 24 hours after receiving the email. For more details, please contact the office using the information on the reservation confirmation received after booking.
Arrival: from 4.00 pm. Departure: before 10.00 am. For arrivals after midnight (12.00 a.m.) a fee of 50€ may be charged, which the client has to pay in cash at the moment of check-in.
