Description
With a size of 145m², 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, it is ideally suited for 2-8 people, but also offers space for up to 11 people. The facilities leave little to be desired with a conservatory, two fireplaces, a whirlpool bath, a pool table, a sun terrace, a large garden and a large fitted kitchen.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset in the conservatory in front of the fireplace or on the adjacent balcony with a view of the mountains, make yourself comfortable on the sun terrace or simply relax with a game of billiards in the leisure cellar.
On the 826m² fenced plot there is a sun terrace with garden table and chairs, barbecue etc.. A carport and several parking spaces on the property are available for your cars

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in a holiday complex on the Bühberg in Barbis at an altitude of 400m, together with another 100 log cabins. It is surrounded by woods and meadows, which invite you to go for walks or sledging in winter. From the balcony or conservatory you have a great view of the mountains opposite and the Scharzfeld ruins.
In approx. 1 km distance you will find a supermarket, a bakery as well as an Italian and a Greek restaurant. The Barbis train station is about 1 km away.
The towns of Braunlage and St. Andreasberg are 20-30 minutes away by car. The spa town of Bad Lauterberg is about 5 km away and invites you to visit its beautiful centre with its restaurants, cafés and shops. The castle cable car, which is one of the steepest in Germany with a gradient of 60 percent, also runs from here. A beautiful panoramic restaurant awaits you at the top, and in winter downhill skiing is possible here. Especially when the weather is bad, the Vitamar leisure pool or the Kirchberg thermal baths, among others, provide fun and relaxation.

Otherwise, simply send us an enquiry and we will provide you with a non-binding offer! All our accommodation prices refer to a maximum of 2 persons per night. For each additional person a surcharge of 12,00 € per night will be added. Additional prices: Final cleaning: 85,00 EUR Surcharge with dog for increased cleaning effort: one-time € 15.00 (binding) Towels: once per person 5,00 € (optional) Bed linen: once per person 8,00 € (optional) Children up to 10 years pay an extra charge of 6,00 € per night (age at arrival). For dogs we take an extra charge of 6,00 € / night plus the surcharge of 15,00 €. In the period from October to March we have to take an energy surcharge of 9,00 € per night. Perfect
The holiday home can be recommended without reservation,
the cleanliness was excellent, you walk in the door and immediately feel comfortable, no unpleasant smells or dirty corners as you know it from other houses,
even though animals are allowed.
The communication was also very recommendable.
The surroundings in the Harz mountains offer many possibilities to experience an active holiday with children and dog. We had a great holiday in a very cosy holiday home, we will gladly come back!

Comfortable and relaxing on New Year's Eve!
We were five of us (4 adults, one toddler) at the holiday home over New Year's Eve. We really liked it very much! We spent most of our time in the spacious living/dining/kitchen area. First, I have to praise the super-equipped kitchen! We usually bring our own knives to holiday homes, but that was not necessary. On the couch, we all had plenty of space to chill, read books, watch TV. The large dining table is in the conservatory where there is also underfloor heating. That was of course very pleasant, especially when we played games until late at night. The bedrooms are well distributed. So we didn't hear much of the children's noise in the basement room (including bathroom). However, the whole house is made of wooden walls. That means the walls are very thin and soundproof. But you can cope with that. We also played a lot of billiards. At first, we thought it might be cooler in the basement, even when sleeping. But the heating, set to 3, already gave off almost too much heat. Furthermore, there are lots of toys for parents and children and opportunities to keep busy. The surroundings are very quiet. We went for walks and on December 31st, we launched rockets with the neighbors on the large field at the end of the street. Everyone is very nice and open!
What else is there to say? We shopped at Edeka down in the village, which is also open late and is really very big. And the house was very clean (bathrooms, floors)! That is always important to us. We just rinsed some dishes again beforehand. I can imagine spending a week in the holiday home in the summer as well. The garden offers plenty of space and opportunities for sunbathing. And there are many recommendations for things to do in the area... So, many thanks to the Brummerloh family!!! We will definitely come back! But for now, off to the North Sea :)

Late summer relaxation
A very well-equipped house for all age groups in a quiet location and varied surroundings. We had an excellent long weekend with three generations and two dogs. With nine people, there was never any overcrowding, and there was both ample opportunity for retreat and shared activities in the spacious interior and beautifully landscaped outdoor area. Everyone involved loved it.

Great weekend in the Harz Mountains
We stayed with friends at the rustic holiday home over the May weekend. Everything was perfect, the conservatory, the fireplace, the garden, the pool table. Just great. We definitely recommend the house.

Highly recommended!!
We were on the Sonnenalm over Easter - albeit without sun, but instead with cozy evenings in front of the crackling fireplace. We really liked it. Accommodating two families is not a problem at all. The new summer garden is very nice. Peace and relaxation on the hill above Bad Lauterberg / Barbis are guaranteed!
