The Holiday home

Ideal for holiday guests with high expectations! The house is located in the hills above Pescia with a wonderful view of the village and the nature of the lovely Tuscan countryside. The private pool (4,70m x 8,90m x 1,20h) and large gardens (2000sqm) are ideal for our younger guests. The garden is completely fenced and therefore suitable for guests with dogs. The covered terrace can be used at any time. Whether you want to sit in the shade during the day or in the evening to eat outside. Directly at the house is a large wooden table with umbrella and a barbecue and pizza oven. course There are loungers, seating and a dining table by the pool. In addition is the pool a warm shower. Inside invites high-quality furnishings, comfortable and remain. Much to the kitchen open living room with fireplace and television can accommodate in the colder months, and all the comfort you could wish for. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and an open grill and a large table offers enough space for 8 people. On a gallery above the living area has a single bed and a double sofa bed. In a small side room off the kitchen is the washing machine. There are two large bedrooms with French doors onto the garden and two bathrooms. A bathroom with rain shower and a bathroom with a large Jacuzzi. There is in the living area and in the vestibule to the bedrooms air conditioning. The can be switched on separately.

The house is located near Pescia, outside of San Quirico. Surrounded by greenery, with a wonderful view of one of the 10 medieval villages of the area. San Quirico is also one of 10 villages in these hills. There are several hiking trails between villages. but they can also drive by car and visit. In Pescia the cathedral from the 17th century is interesting. Montecatini Terme is one of the Terme in Italy and is only 10 km away. The Pescia takes its name the late 18th century by Jean Charles Sismondi get to the valley 'Valleriana' at his home in Switzerland recalled. Due to the many waterways, the area was ideal for papermaking. Here the paper was prepared for the bills. Today few are left. The big factories are now near the highway in Capannori (Lucca) but in Pietrabuona remembers a paper Museum of production in these hills. But other museums there: In San Quirico there is a museum on the life of the peasants and in the Vellano 'museo storico etnografico del minatore e cavatore'. In Vellano, there is a quarry, the last in the province of Pistoia. For the walkers amongst you there are several hiking trails: a large circular route (however partially across the street) to all 10 villages (10 Castella) to visit for it takes about 6 hours. Or you can walk from Ponte a Sorana to San Quirico, Medicina after Fibbialla or a very romantic way with natural bath in the river to the mill at Stiappa (if you will drive past Stiappa right to a house a bus stop.
