Description
Our "Hütte 27" is a natural wooden hut - a double hut with two separate holiday flats - FeWo Louisa and FeWo Paul. It is located on the Duxeralm-Hochkrimml at an altitude of 1600m and is only approx. 300m away from the lift and cross-country ski run. Each flat offers space for 4 people.
Our HOLIDAY APARTMENT LOUISA consists of a dining/living room with radio and TV as well as a small room alcove with a wardrobe and a sofa bed, which can be used as a couch during the day and as a single bed sleeping option in the evening. From here, a small wooden ladder leads to the sleeping loft (a loft with a headroom of 1.40 m at the highest point), which children in particular always love. It offers space for 2 persons (2 single mattresses 100x200) and is very quaint.
In another small extra room, there are 2 single beds across the corner (mattresses 90x180) and a spacious wardrobe.
The kitchenette is equipped with a cooker with four hotplates and an oven as well as a refrigerator (with a small freezer compartment), coffee machine and toaster. There is no microwave.
As the cabin is quite natural and therefore very cosy and charming, it only has a very small shower room with toilet, washbasin and shower. Of course there is heating and hot water.
The car parking space is directly in front of the cottage. There is a south-facing veranda and a beautiful garden in front of and behind the cottage.
Especially nice in summer but of course also in winter - our cottage beach chair.
In front of the cottage as well as in the garden there is a cosy bench to sit and linger. You will find some garden furniture in the hutch, which is located on our veranda next to the entrance to the hut. In summer, the grass around the hut may be ankle-high, it then has a meadow character.
In winter, your skis can be stored in our new ski rack in the garden. There is no locked ski or bike shed, but in the 40 years that we have been renting out the hut in Hochkrimml and holidaying there ourselves, we can report no theft. Bicycles, however, should always be locked up at the back of the garden.
The hut does not stand alone, but in the midst of other houses and huts. However, I can guarantee you peace and quiet and relaxation, as Hochkrimml is a beautiful, small, idyllic mountain resort.

Location and surroundings of object
Hochkrimml is located on the Gerlos Pass, on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol. It is 1600 m high (2000 m high at the summit) and consists of 3 districts: Filzstein, Duxeralm and Silberleiten. The distance to Königsleiten is about 3 km and to Krimml about 10 km.
Hochkrimml is a snow-sure area, also very suitable for children and beginners. A quiet mountain village with three nice restaurants, 2 sports shops with ski rental.
Ski lifts and cross-country ski trails are only about 300 m from the flat. If the snow conditions are good, you can ski down to the flat after a nice ski day.
The Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area in the Zillertal and stretches from Zell im Zillertal via Gerlos to Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml. On the 143 kilometres of slopes and 52 lifts, skiers & snowboarders will find a wide range of offers for all skill levels.
In the winter months, the tranquil mountain region is the region's biggest snow and winter fun paradise: the Zillertal Arena. There is something for everyone, whether expert or beginner, snowboarder or deep-snow freak, from Zell am Ziller to Gerlosplatte a total of 165 kilometres of pistes offer the ideal conditions for every type of winter sport. Those who don't want to stand on their skis in between can go ice skating, cross-country skiing or have fun on the 7 km long (night) toboggan run.
In the summer months, there are plenty of wonderful mountain tours, hiking trails, golf courses and leisure activities for the whole family.
The golf courses in the Zillertal as well as in Mittersill and Uderns can be reached by car in about 30 minutes.

Cute and cozy "Hansel and Gretel cottage"
Located by the slope, very charming Hansel and Gretel cottage. The cottage is attractively furnished. Great service; the coffee pot was broken. But after a WhatsApp message, a new one was delivered to the door the next morning. Everything is provided. Slept well. The party consisted of 3 adults. Needed snow chains to drive up. Right by the lifts. Plenty of parking and ate out regularly by the slope. Great skiing area... We will come back here more often.

Lovely cottage!
We had a great week in this cottage! The cozy cottage is nicely decorated (with rugs and decorations) and has a cozy, warm atmosphere. In the summer, it is mainly a quiet base for walks in the Zillertal Arena. There is a restaurant within walking distance where you can eat and drink very well.
The arrival went smoothly, thanks to the clear directions that the landlord had sent us. The cottage was neat and everything was provided. There is plenty of kitchen utensils and the oven + hob is good.
The email contact with the landlady is good. The landlady is a lovely woman who does everything she can to make the holiday as enjoyable as possible.
All in all, we are positive about the holiday home Louisa. The beautiful, quiet location, the smooth contact with the landlord, and the fact that all amenities were available made for a great holiday! We would definitely want to come back again.

Mountain world is overwhelming

Unser Aufenthalt in "FeWo Louisa" in Hochkrimml
Wir haben uns in der Hütte sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig und der vorhandene Platz kann optimal genutzt werden, Sie haben an alles gedacht. Nach dem Ski fahren haben wir uns gemütlich auf die Bank auf der Veranda gesetzt, herrlich ! Abends , bei einem Gläschen Wein, konnte man prima die urige Hüttenathmosphäre auf sich wirken lassen. Und alles hat super funktioniert !
Auf der Rückfahrt haben wir gleich unsere neu gekauften Schneeketten gebraucht !
Wir werden noch lange an die tolle Woche zurückdenken !

Cosy cabin in peaceful area near the ski slopes
We loved the atmosphere of the cabin as well as the area where it is located. We felt at home right away, and close to nature. No big luxury but all is there what you need. Parking in front of the house and a nice porch overlooking the small garden. A few minutes walk to the slopes, and with sufficient snow you can ski back to just a few meters from the cabin. We had a superb stay. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

Uriger einfacher Urlaub im Skigebiet
Wer im Urlaub einfach nur abschalten will ohne unwichtigen Schnickschnack ist da sehr richtig. Uns hat es da gut gefallen. Nur das Bad war sehr klein.

Urige kleine Hütte

FeWo Louisa in July, 2 children, 2 adults, 1 dog
We had a wonderful stay in Hochrimml! Louisa is just as beautiful and cosy as you see in the photos. The flat is super equipped, clean and well maintained. We didn't want for anything! The cosy floor for the children - just great!
In the garden and on the veranda, we really enjoyed hearing nothing but the babbling of the small stream that flanks the property in summer and the ringing of the cowbells.
Hochkrimml is in the middle of a beautiful hiking area, from the hut you can hike the "house summit" in two/three hours and then stop at the Gletscherblickalm and enjoy a fantastic view.
The contact with Mrs Kruse was very very nice at all times, she was always available and absolutely helpful.
The tiny little farm shop opposite the Duxeralm is also highly recommended, where Regina offers some regional specialities, as well as her "Oa", which still really taste like "Oa" ;-)
We will definitely be back! Thank you very much for everything, Mrs Kruse!

We would like to write you a few lines about our stay in your cottage. For me personally, it was one of the nicest accommodations I have had. We felt right at home from the first minute. You can send a big thank you right away to the person who prepared the hut. What you have to know is that during the period we were there, everything was closed. We were pretty much the only ones up there. But that had no relevance for us at all. In the reviews of your cottage, at least one person complained about the size of the bathroom. Of course it is very small, but you don't spend the whole day in it. You also point this out in the description. It didn't bother us. However, I would be interested to see what it's like up there in winter. But we are totally enthusiastic about the landscape. You can be sure that if I have the opportunity, I will definitely recommend you to others and if it should happen again, we would book it again.

Superschöner Familienwanderurlaub in hochwertiger Tiny-House-Qualität
Das Haus ist gemessen an der Größe perfekt eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Trotz eines tatsächlich sehr kleinen Bads ist besonders die leistungsstarke Dusche zu erwähnen, die nach einem Wandertag belohnt.
Die Kinder (9, 12) hatten Riesenspaß an der Schlaf-Dachkammer und schwärmen immer noch von dem Haus.
Die Wärme- und Feuchtigkeitsregulation dauert zunächst etwas, gelingt dann aber sehr gut. Wegen kleinem Feuchtfleck im Schlafzimmer der Punktabzug in der Sauberkeit.
In der Herbstferien gab es dort oben nur noch wenig Service - die Tourist-Info hatte noch gezielt geöffnet, jedoch kein Brötchenservice oder Einkaufsmöglichkeit fußläufig vor Ort (im Sommer wahrscheinlich eine Versorgung vorhanden). Daher Lage 1 Punkt Abzug. Seilbahnen und Almhütten haben Anfang Oktober teilweise bereits geschlossen.
Dafür kann man vor Ort loswandern und genießt zu jedem Zeitpunkt einen spektakulären Ausblick in die Berge. Mit dem Auto kann man darüber hinaus in der Nähe quasi sämtliche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Trampolinpark, Schwimmbad, Erlebniswanderungen,...) erreichen (maximal 30 km).
Die Vermieterin ist extrem nett und es bestand bei den Vorabsprachen ein unmittelbarer, unkomplizierter Kontakt.
Wir haben diese Herausnahme aus dem Alltag sehr genossen!

Gemütliche Hütte in ruhiger Lage
wir haben mit unsren beiden Kindern und unserem Hund viele Wanderungen von hier aus machen können. Der Stausee war auch herrlich! Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Hütte gemütlich eingerichtet. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Unser Familien Urlaub
Der Urlaub war der Hammer super geiles Wetter und die Hütte war echt der Wahnsinn. Unsere Kinder waren echt begeistert, als noch ein wenig Schnee vor der Hütte lag und die ganzen Tiere die den Berg auf und ab liefen.
So einen Urlaub kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Für Hund und Frauchen - perfekt ;-)
Traumhafte 11 Tage sind heute leider zu Ende gegangen. Und ich schließe mich den positiven Vorrednern hier im Portal gerne an.
Man schließt die Tür auf und merkt sofort : man ist in Österreich angekommen. Es fehlt an nichts, weder in der Küche, noch im Wohnbereich. Urig, herzlich eingerichtet, sehr gute Lage für Wanderungen direkt von der Haustür aus.
Im Winter sicher eine sehr komfortable Lifteinstiegslage.
Ich wollte Ruhe und habe sie im Juni definitiv bekommen, da ein Großteil der Hüttenanlage sich noch vom Winteransturm erholt hat und somit unvermietet war.
Das Restaurant öffnet erst im Juli wieder - der Weg zur 45 minütigen entfernten Gletscherblickalm entschädigt es aber mehr als ausreichend mit leckerem Kaiserschmarren oder anderen Köstlichkeiten.
Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Gegend - nicht viele verirren sich zum Spazierengehen bis auf diese Höhe (1600m).
Preis / Leistung : TOP !
Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte mal da - lieben Dank für die tolle Betreuung.

Tolle Hütte in sehr netter Umgebung
Wir haben in der Hütte den Jahreswechsel 2018-19 verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist einfach aber sehr praktisch und alles was es braucht um eine Woche im Schnee zu verbringen ist vorhanden. Ideal für ein kleine Familie. Skilift und Sportgeschäft am Ort, Skischule nur 15min zu Fuß entfernt. Im Nachnbarort kann man in der Plattenalm lecker Essen, für den täglichen Bedarf gibt es einen kleinen Shop direkt im Ort. Außerdem gibt es einen sehr zuverlässlichen Brötchenservice. Insgesamt ein sehr erfreulicher Aufenthakt. Wir kommen wieder!

hält nicht, was versprochen wurde
Es wird mit keiner Silbe erwähnt, dass es sich hier nur um die Hälfte der fotografierten Hütte handelt. Es ist nur für Personen geeignet, die sehr spartanisch leben können und nicht sehr groß sind. Das Bad ist so winzig, dass man die Badtür offenstehen lassen muss, wenn man am Waschbecken sich die Zähne putzen will. Ich bin selbst kein Hüne und trage Kleidergröße 38. Weiterhin wird nicht erwähnt, dass diese Hütte in einem Komplex aus vielen Hütten / Chalets besteht. Die Nachbarn sind sehr nahe. Die Lage allerdings ist gut, da man von dem Ort viele touristische Ziele gut erreichen kann.

Toller Skiurlaub
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Hütte entspricht dem Eindruck auf den Bildern und war trotz der vielen Accessoires sehr sauber. Der Aufstieg zum Lift ist gut zu bewältigen und wir konnten bis kurz vor die Hütte abfahren.

Rustic cosy ski lodge - directly on the ski slope
We enjoyed our skiing holiday 2018 in the hut very much - like the last stays (in loose succession since 2007). Booking and coordination with the landlord was quick and relaxed. The facilities are plentiful and the short distance to the lift station (approx. 100 m), to the cross-country ski trail and to the winter hiking trail make it possible to quickly drop by the hut in between and, for example, warm up a freezing child again.
The area is snow-sure anyway.

Niedliche, urige Holzhütte - tolle Erholung und Skifahren
Wir haben eine schöne Woche mit viel Schnee in Hochkrimml verbracht und alles hat gut geklappt - wir haben uns in ihrer Hütte 27 sehr wohlgefühlt und auch viel Spaß beim Skifahren gehabt. Schnee gab es dieses Jahr wirklich reichlich!

Quaint little cottage in a good location!
Cosy little cottage - the space is used optimally (the bathroom is really mini, but we knew that). Dishes and kitchen utensils are very plentiful. The location is great - about 200 m to the lifts on foot (there is a slight uphill, back you can ski down almost in front of the hut). We had great snow - but that also meant that nothing worked without snow chains (and now it works in 2 minutes...). Fortunately, you only need the car to get to and from the hut and for shopping. There is a mini shop at the lift with fresh bread rolls. For shopping we drove down to the Spar in Krimml, alternative is a small Spar in Königsleiten. When you've had enough of the slopes: Winter hike into the Achental valley past the waterfalls to the Krimmler Tauernhaus - fantastic.

rustic, traditional alpine hut
The rustic alpine hut offers flair and cosiness for all those who love it natural and do not have high demands. We felt very comfortable! We recommend a maximum occupancy of 2 people and 1 child due to structural problems in winter (condensation also in the bedroom!). The hut has 5 sleeping possibilities. We were able to arrange ourselves well with the circumstances we found. The location in the ski area and to the lift are absolutely ideal for those who don't need any "extras".

Quaint little cottage in a good location!
If you want a quiet, relaxing skiing holiday with the cottage feeling that goes with it, this is the place for you. The hut is small, but offers enough space due to a well-chosen room layout and interior equipment. The location is very good for skiers, you only need 3-4 minutes to walk to the next lift (uphill). I would also recommend the accommodation to non-skiers, as Hochkrimml also offers enough alternative programmes. The only small minus point (which can't really be attributed to the landlord) was the immense effort required to shovel snow, as the winter service really pushed the parking bays shut when it snowed. Admittedly, there was a lot of new snow several times during the week and there was already a lot of snow at that time, so that you didn't even know where to shovel the snow. But you can't do anything about the weather, because you need the snow to ski! Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend the accommodation at any time!

Gemütliche Hütte - tolle Erholung!
Sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit reichlich Tipps für die Freizeitgestaltung. Die kleine Küche ist prima ausgestattet, so das man vernünftig die Mahlzeiten zubereiten konnte. Die Lage ist toll. Man kann von hier aus sofort loswanden.

Winter holiday perfect
Really cosy, lovingly furnished mountain hut. Very good location for skiers, cross-country skiers and hikes, also with dog. Very good slopes for all requirements. Equipped with all appliances and inventory for daily use. Morning bread service with a good selection. Restaurants with very good food within 5-20 minutes walking distance. Ideal for a cosy winter holiday in a beautiful landscape.

Erholung pur in der urigen Hütte
Sehr urige, saubere und gemütliche Hütte mit guter Ausstattung, ruhige Lage. Optimal für Skiurlauber, aber auch Wanderer die weniger Apres-Ski brauchen. 3 gute Restaurants in der Nähe und zahlreiche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Sehr nette Vermieter, die alles sehr unkompliziert abwickeln. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen unbedingt wieder. Fam Weber
