Recent detached house in a unique, quiet location, close to the sea, walk less than 200 meters! Large, enclosed grounds with orange, lemon and medlar and Mediterranean ornamentals. Behind the house a deep valley with mountain stream; from the house there is a view of the mountains and the green of trees shimmering sea.
The spacious house itself has living-dining room with kitchenette (fridge / freezer, washing machine), open fireplace and satellite TV, 2 bedrooms (one if necessary with extra bed), bathroom and a covered terrace with an old olive tree. Newer, good and bright facilities; Fly screens on all windows; private (not paved and partly a bit steep) driveway and parking spaces.

Casa Maria is located in Coccorino Mare between Santa Maria and Joppolo:

Many beautiful, even long sandy beaches can be found between Capo Vaticano and Tropea. Most beaches are easily and quickly accessible. The most famous bays:
Grotticelle: The best beaches on the tip of Capo Vaticano. Several bays with sandy, between rocks, sand and mostly in water. Behind the beach greenery and individual beach facilities (including some cozy bars); Umbrellas, deck chairs, boats, surfboards, etc. can be rented. A popular summer event here is the shady beach bar Grotticelle!
S. Maria: Ca. 750 m long sandy beach (coarse sand, in the water and gravel and stone), behind houses and some hotels. In July and August quite heavily frequented. Part of the beach facilities hotels and boats.
Coast between Coccorino and Nicotera: Between Coccorino and Joppolo on some kilometers spectacular rocky and steep coast, by boat are some tiny coves accessible.

Idyllic hideaway in Calabria
Detached, tucked-away house with regionally usual simple furnishings.
Great garden with shower, access to the sea via a steep path (approx. 300m).
If you don't care for neighbours and hullabaloo and are mainly looking for relaxation and tranquillity on holiday, this is the right place for you!
However, larger shopping facilities can only be reached by car via a steep approach.
We (family with 3 children between 11 and 17) liked it very much in any case!
We have already booked again for this year!
