The rustic tree house invites you to enjoy the lake panorama of Lake Malchin or a magnificent sunset from the balcony or terrace. The Dahmen tree house on Lake Malchin is a unique holiday home in Mecklenburg/Vorpommern. It is divided into a living room with a double bed and a small kitchen. Even a flat screen TV is available. There is also a flush toilet in the house. An outdoor shower with hot and cold water is located directly below the tree house next to the spacious terrace. The tree house also has an upper balcony terrace with a view over Lake Malchin. There is also a place for sunbathing with 2 sun loungers and a campfire site with a swivel barbecue on the property. Location and surroundings of object
Dahmen in the former district of Güstrow belongs to the new district of Rostock. The house is situated on a hill above Lake Malchin and is about 80 m from the shore. In the village there is a fisherman (selling fresh and smoked fish) and 3 restaurants. But it is even more fun to bathe the earthworms yourself. The lake with its good fish stock (eel, perch, pike and zander and more available) offers the best conditions. You can get the necessary fishing permit 200 m away directly from the fisherman. With an average depth of 2 m, Lake Malchin is extremely shallow. In the middle of the lake is a real hotspot for anglers with a depth of approx. 12 metres. Lake Malchin is about 9 km long and has a total area of about 14 km². Lake Malchin is connected to Lake Kummerow in the northeast via the Dahmer Canal and the Peene River. There is a navigable connection to the Baltic Sea. The shore zones are densely lined with reeds. Gentle hills surround Lake Malchin, which are mainly covered with dense deciduous forests. Many very rare and protected bird species are native to and around the lake. With a bit of luck, you can observe sea eagles and ospreys in addition to ducks and geese that use the lake and the shore zones as a resting and roosting place. Around Lake Malchin are the villages of Basedow (east), Dahmen (south), Bülow and Bristow in the west. In the vicinity of Dahmen are Teterow , Malchow and Waren an der Müritz in about 20 km, as well as Malchin. The Baltic Sea is about an hour away by car. Special features: In autumn and spring you can watch the cranes from the observation tower about 2 km away when they gather. Dahmen is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District in the beautiful Mecklenburg Switzerland Nature Park . Dahmen consists of the villages Hüttenkoppel, Dahmen, Rothenmoor, Bockholt, Ziddorf, Barz, Großen Luckow and Neu Ziddorf and has a total of about 600 inhabitants. Dahmen itself was first mentioned in a document in 1235. The small church in Gothic style with its wooden belfry is particularly worth seeing. The FFH and landscape and bird sanctuary around Lake Malchin in the Mecklenburg Switzerland and Kummerow Lake Nature Park offers unique living conditions for a species-rich fauna and flora. Watch the flight of the white-tailed eagles or the gathering of the cranes in autumn before they fly south.

The landlord was very very nice and accommodating. The house was very beautiful and cozy. Loving details made it perfect.
