Description
The house has a spacious lounge with a large fireplace, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed. An extra cot is available. The kitchen and bathroom are modernly furnished. Right next to the terrace there is also a fireplace where you can sit comfortably by the campfire, surrounded by a group of trees. The bathing area 250 m away is also suitable for smaller children, as the water is shallow for a long time. There is also a public sandy bathing beach about 2 km away.

Lakene is located in the municipality of Hagfors in northern Värmland. The area is very rich in forests and lakes. A nature paradise. It is 80 km to Karlstad, the capital of Värmland. The nearest shop is 11 km away, at a petrol station with a boutique. Larger shops can be found in Hagfors, 22 km away. The skiing area "Hovfjället" can be reached in 45 min. There are several cross-country skiing trails in the vicinity. Lakene is a small village, the houses are spread out, but even here there is an iced coffee (open in summer) and the possibility to get home-made cheese.

The lake offers good fishing opportunities for pike and perch, for example. In neighbouring waters there is also a chance of catching zander, salmon trout and other noble fish species. A boat is provided free of charge. Only the motor is rented for 200 kr per day. A cycle path suitable for extended cycling tours (to Karlstad or Hagfors) is 5 km away.availability

Boundless idyll
Three of us stayed in this very well equipped and beautiful log cabin. The property and the surroundings are a dream. We have rarely felt as comfortable as we did there. Even our dog had pure joy on this holiday (thanks to Lea, of course). The landlord family is very friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. We will certainly remember these 2 wonderful weeks of holiday for a long time.
recommend for: adventure and experience, seniors, holiday with children, holiday with pet, romantic holiday
