Description
Just a few kilometres from the sea, above Imperia, Porto Maurizio, in the Poggi district, you will find the lovingly restored village house Casa delle Stelle. The holiday home offers enough space for 4 people. In the basement, immediately to the right after the main entrance, there is a small painter's studio which has been converted into a bedroom with a sofa bed. On the 1st floor of the house you will find a bedroom with a traditional double bed, the bathroom with shower and another sofa bed in the intermediate room that takes you to the next floor. On the 2nd floor is the cosy little kitchen with dining table. Here you can enjoy the fantastic view over the sea for hours in a comfortable rattan armchair. The third staircase leads to the top floor with a sofa bed for one person and the small terrace with a view of the sea, which invites you to cosy get-togethers in the evenings.

Location and surroundings of object
From the Imperia Ovest motorway exit, take the coastal road towards San Lorenzo al Mare and take the next right towards Poggi. After about 5 winding kilometres uphill, drive through a bottleneck at the village church and then past the village on the right until a few garages line the road on the left. Park along the road and walk a little way back into the small alleyway Via Ludovico Ariosto. Just a few metres after the first bend to the right you will find the entrance to Casa delle Stelle. You will receive the exact directions from us after booking.

Train on a stepper 1-2 weeks before arrival ;). The free beach in Cervo (Porteghetto) offers interesting snorkeling fun.

Perfect! As soon as you come down the mountain from Poggi, before turning onto the main road, there is a cheap and delicious pizzeria on the left. Nothing special but good. Beach: Cesar's Beach, Via Sant'Elmo, Diano Marina (when coming from Imperia to Diano Marina, turn right at the entrance to the town and follow the street to the end). Also a pay beach, but recommended for parents with children (sand, small bay, with visual contact with the shallow section of the sea).

Everything necessary is already present. Good additional information and maps in the holiday home. A barbecue would be the icing on the cake. Beach of San Lorenzo al Mare (free), cycle path from San Lorenzo towards San Remo, Imperia, Dolcedo, and the hinterland, strolling in San Remo. We are very satisfied with the selection, your service, and the holiday destination, and we will gladly recommend you and look forward to returning to your offers in the future.

The facilities were perfect. Everything was available!! Seraffino / ice cream parlor with a fantastic sea view in Cervo.

Object left nothing to be desired. Everything necessary was available. Beach section Borgo Foce, whale-watching from Porto Maurizio definitely worth planning, excursions to the Cote d'Azur, Cervo, etc.

When I think about it, we actually didn't lack anything. Spontaneously, I can't think of anything now. In San Remo, there was a very delicious place with friendly staff in a side street off the promenade. However, I can't remember the name anymore. No, there's nothing else except that we didn't want to go home at all. It was the eleventh time in Italy for me, and it certainly won't be the last time. It's my absolute dream country.

In terms of available space, the furnishings are perfect. Some might wish for a larger TV, but not us. A grill would be the cherry on top. In Dolcedo, there is an excellent pizzeria called "Da Lulla." In Santo Stefano al Mare, Ligurian specialties to take away at "da Ciapet", the beach there is perfect for families (mostly free), also fantastic ice cream at "L'angolo di Emma" (or something similar, the gelateria is rightly award-winning and very affordable!). As destinations: Pieve di Teco, Dolcedo, with reservations: Bussana Vecchia (very expensive! but you can have your afternoon coffee elsewhere... the place is very interesting!). In principle, the small trattoria in Poggi is also recommended, very simple and down-to-earth cuisine, guaranteed delicious, and the friendliest service in all of Liguria. Those who do not go to the first tourist restaurant on the beach or on a main street will always have a cheaper and better experience than others. Everything is perfect!

A small electric grill would be nice.
Beautiful sandy beach in Laigueglia. Everything was great! We just expected the floor to be cleaned beforehand, after 10 minutes the children had black feet.

One felt at home terrace with a great view was totally adequate. Driving along the coast towards Genoa and Monaco was really a great vacation, unfortunately too short.
