Those who don't like it quite so quiet can also spend active holidays here in all seasons. Hikers and walkers get their money's worth. We are the ideal starting point for the new signposted 7 km long Pferdsheck hiking trail. For sporting activities, the Eifel offers the best conditions for bicycles, motorbikes, car tours and fishing.
The garden ..
The detached holiday home has a beautiful view over Gerolstein, which is about 4 km away. The large garden invites you to relax on the loungers when the weather is nice. For the smallest guests there is a swing, trampoline, seesaw, playground and sandpit. You are also welcome to nibble on the various fruit trees.
The house ..
Our holiday home has been rated 4 times in a row with 4**** stars for 6 persons by the DTV. The house is approx. 90 m² in size and is fully equipped for 6 people (more people on request)
On our farm you will find cows, horses, chickens, dog and cats.
Friendly and attractive furnishings make even a longer stay a pleasant experience

The historic farmhouse is quietly situated on the outskirts of Hinterhausen.
The picturesque Eifel village of Hinterhausen is situated at an altitude of 470 metres and is the smallest district of the spa town of Gerolstein with approx. 80 inhabitants. Here you will find peace and recreation for young and old.

Merry Christmas
The days here were very pleasant, the house is clean and the infrared cabin made the day end nicely. The weather was not very Christmas-like so we couldn't fully enjoy the landscape, but the family had a large selection of games for us. The children were not bored. We all had a lovely Christmas time.

Absolutely family-friendly!
If you want to spend a holiday in the countryside with children, this is ideal!!!
Very nice hosts, very child-oriented. A quiet little place, good for walking, cows, dog and cats on site who are lovely. For excursions there is a nice offer in 10 to 15 minutes by car. Also shopping possibilities are in 10 min to reach, from bakery to dm everything available in one place!
Cows and horses can be watched from the terrace. Very nice!
The equipment is also more than extensive, from cots to toys to kitchen machines and fresh cow's milk and freshly laid eggs - of course only if the chickens give enough ?
A wonderful holiday all round!

Pure relaxation
The holiday home "zur schönen aussicht" is 100% recommendable! We are 6 people (3 couples) spent the time over New Year's Eve in the house. We are thrilled. Starting with the lovely welcome from Mr. and Mrs. Dahm, the atmosphere is relaxed. And further to the house: very clean, well maintained, the shower cabins (2) are great, the kitchen is big enough and equipped with everything that belongs to it (and a little more :-), the fireplace in the living room provides warmth and cosiness. The heat cabin is great, with music, pure relaxation. The surroundings are fantastic, really "beautiful view"! You can walk through the forest or through the fields, fresh air and very quiet. Thank you for the great stay!
