Our house on the lake was completed in July 2011. The apartment for a maximum of 5 people is located on the first floor. From here you can enjoy the magnificent view of the lake and the nature. A wide range of leisure activities in almost untouched nature offer those seeking recreation variety, peace and relaxation at any time of the year. Children have enough space and freedom to discover new things.
The very comfortably furnished studio-like flat has a floor space of 110 sqm. It consists of a spacious living area with flat-screen TV, a dining area with open-plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms with waterbeds, and a bathroom (12.5 sqm) with bathtub, spacious shower and WC. The 13m wide, almost continuously glazed, living/dining area opens to the sea side to a two-metre wide balcony equipped with comfortable garden furniture. From the bedrooms you can step out onto a south-facing balcony (8 x 1.5 m) and catch the first rays of sunshine already in the morning. In addition, there is the possibility of sharing the approx. 3000 sqm garden including a small beach area and a lakeside terrace. Garden furniture and sunbeds are available.
The parking space for car and sports equipment brought along is located on the fenced property. A large rowing boat allows both family outings on the lake and fishing.

Location and surroundings of object
Children and adults have plenty of space and room to develop freely both inside and outside our holiday flat. The holiday feeling with its lightness sets in immediately.
When you are in the "land of a thousand lakes", a trip on the water is almost obligatory. Here, activity on the water gives you an otherwise unknown sense of exhilaration. Boats, including licence-free motorboats, as well as bicycles can be rented in the area. A boat mooring is available on request for a small fee.
Why this property?
Our holiday home is located in an incredibly beautiful and also quiet region of Germany. At the Vilzsee in Diemitz, you are far away from the stress and hectic of everyday life, without missing out on a variety of sporting, culinary and cultural activities.
By the way, the word syllable 'Vilz' is derived from the Slavic 'Villec' (fairy). We find that the fish-rich lake with its extensive fields of water lilies and the landscape associated with it really does radiate a fairy-like beauty. At the same time, it is connected to other lakes as the Müritz-Havel Road and water hiking trail and thus invites us to make larger excursions on the water.
We do our shopping in Mirow, or in Rheinsberg, which is steeped in history and also hosts cultural events.
You can also make an excursion to the residential town of Neustrelitz, the harbour town of Röbel with the Müritztherme, Waren with the Müritzeum, the Müritz National Park and .... Even destinations further afield such as Usedom, Rügen, Rostock, Schwerin can be reached from here in less than 2 hours.
