Very beautiful holiday home

The Villa Louisa is a truly beautiful holiday home with an incredibly beautiful view while having breakfast and dinner on the inviting terrace. It's very lovingly furnished, and nothing is lacking in the kitchen equipment! The beach in Almerydia was our personal favorite; at the back by the marina, there are the cheapest sunbeds and umbrellas! The restaurant "Parasia" in Vamos is truly recommended! The communication with Ms. Draack is completely relaxed (probably accustomed to the Greek mentality :-) ! )
The only note is that you definitely need a good rental car !

Amazing villa!

We would highly recommend this villa. Brilliant location, fabulous pool and view. It’s on a hill so the breeze is fabulous. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 children and it was perfect! Xx

Villa Louisa

The Villa Louisa is surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a very inviting pool. From the large terrace, you have a wonderful view of the sea.

The surroundings are very quiet, so relaxation is guaranteed. Nevertheless, you are very quickly at the sea or in a nice tavern, and the shopping possibilities are also very diverse and close by.

The villa is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need for daily life. Nevertheless, you are very quickly at the sea.

Unforgettable vacation

We spent 2 beautiful and relaxing weeks at Villa Louisa and felt at home. If you are looking for peace away from mass tourism, this is the place to be. The house is decorated with a lot of love and we didn't miss anything. The terrace with a view of the sea was our favorite place. Our grandson was fascinated by the view of the Souda Bay bay. Thanks to the binoculars in the villa, he could get a closer look at the naval ships passing by on the sea. The large pool also invites you to swim every day. A car is definitely necessary. If you don't want to drive too far by car, you can eat and shop very well in Vamos and Kalives. The beach in Kalives is also very beautiful, with clean water and a well-kept beach. You can reach it by car in about 10 minutes. If you want a bit of entertainment and variety in the evening, you can drive to Chania or Rethymno by car. Rethymno's old town is lit up in the most beautiful colors at night. We had a great time overall and thoroughly enjoyed the Greek hospitality. Thank you very much for the wonderful time in Crete.

House with a view over Souda Bay

As a couple, we felt very comfortable in the holiday house. The house is situated on a hill, from where you can see the entire Souda Bay. Behind the house, you have a view of the White Mountains (Lefka Ori).

Several holiday houses have settled on the hill. There is enough distance maintained so that you can enjoy your privacy.

The house itself has three bedrooms, a living/dining room, and two bathrooms. A terrace in front of the house has a chill-out area where you can relax during the day. A breeze provides cooling, as does a pleasantly spacious pool.

The house is located about a 45-minute drive from the port city of Chania. Other destinations in the west or south of the island can be reached by car in one to two hours.

The house is suitable for people who want to discover Crete on their own, away from mass tourism. We really liked it and we would love to come back.

Idyllic location, magnificent view

My husband and I were at Villa Louisa on the recommendation of our children. The sea view is beautiful and the white mountains in the background even had some snow. The garden is very well maintained and the interior of the holiday house offers everything you need. This year it was relatively cool for the season in spring. Since the house has three terraces, we could always stay there where the sunshine was, depending on the time of day. We had a wonderful three weeks and I think back with joy to the wonderful moments.

Beautiful and relaxing

We have been on holiday in Villa Louisa as a family for the second time
The house is still in tip-top shape, the view is overwhelming and you have the feeling of being in the middle of nature.
The contact with the landlady is prompt and she was very helpful with our requests.
We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back again.

Amazing villa!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful villa with wonderful views of the sea. The pool area was brilliant for kids with lovely outdoor areas to eat outside and enjoy the sunset and views. Comfortable, large bedrooms and all the amenities you would need in the kitchen and living areas. It was only a short drive to Kalyves where there was a lovely beach, a big choice of restaurants, a few minimarkets and all the other services you would require. This was a great base for days out to Chania and Rethymnon.  Susanne was a really helpful host whenever we needed assistance with anything before and during our holiday. We had a brilliant holiday and would be very happy to return again, thank-you!!

Absolute recommendation

This was the second time we stayed at Villa Louisa and we enjoyed our holiday to the fullest. The house is in a fantastic location and we were thrilled to sit on the veranda every day and enjoy the view
The kitchen is super equipped so that we could cook comfortably. There is also a washing machine.
You definitely need a car, but with our rental car we made great trips
The tavernas in the surrounding mountain villages are great and there is also shopping in the area.
The only point of improvement I would suggest is the mattresses.
If we ever end up in Crete again, we will definitely come back!

Perfect

We had 12 great days in the villa. It is very clean, very well equipped, the pool and the outdoor area are great and the view sensational. The nearest towns are within easy reach. The contact with the landlord was very nice and uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back.

Relaxed holiday

We stayed at Villa Louisa for 2 weeks. The location is fantastic. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here.
The fantastic pool is worth mentioning and was very clean.
The kitchen is very well equipped. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one point: the mattresses were very hard for us and as a result we had to struggle with back problems.
Air conditioning would be an advantage.
Maybe we could think about that.
I would definitely recommend the villa.

Oasis of peace in a dreamlike landscape

Despite Corona, our family was able to spend a relaxing holiday in the beautiful Apokoronas area.
Villa Louisa is perfect for excursions in any direction, so everyone can find something to their liking.
The villa itself is perfectly equipped and offers a place for every need (pool, lounge, hammock under a large olive tree).
The contact with the landlady is prompt and cordial.
Unfortunately, there was only too little time to do everything...
We will gladly come again!

Wonderful vacation in Crete

This summer is very special due to Corona. Therefore, we carefully considered whether to go on vacation and especially where. The Villa Louisa was a consciously chosen destination: The house is located on a hill and provides enough space to maintain social distancing and feel safe. From the terrace and the entire house, you have a fantastic view over the bay in shimmering shades of blue. A fresh breeze has made the temperatures very pleasant, and you can cool off anytime in a 50sqm pool. Our absolute favorite spot is a hammock under an old olive tree. Here you can relax and unwind. Villa Louisa is also an excellent location for exploring the surrounding area. Various beaches are easily accessible (by car, scooter), and a shopping visit to Chania, Kalives, and Vamos is recommended. Saying goodbye to this idyllic spot was not easy for us, and we highly recommend this place for a beautiful vacation.

Well-kept - magnificent view

The Villa Louisa is in top well-maintained condition, everything you need is available. The large pool is more for refreshment as the view is terrific: the blue sea on one side and the mountains on the other. My favorite spot is the hammock under the olive tree. But without a car, you won't get far. If we weren't so curious about new destinations, we would always come back here.

Simply beautiful!

"Villa Louisa" exceeded our expectations in every way: The beautiful, well-kept house with sophisticated and complete furnishings, the great, tranquil secluded location with fantastic views, and the 50m² pool where we could cool off from the summer heat. All of this contributed to an unforgettable stay. With our rental car (which is required in any case), we made numerous excursions to the south coast of West Crete and enjoyed very beautiful sandy beaches (Georgioupolis, Kalami, Falasarna). But "Villa Louisa" was our favorite place. Simply beautiful and highly recommended!

Great villa in an ideal location

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Louisa. An ideal place for exploring the surroundings and the beaches in Kalyves and Almirida. The mountain village of Vamos is also worth a visit. Overall, we had a very relaxing holiday in a peaceful location. The pool was always used for a refreshing dip. There was nothing missing, everything was very clean and as described.

Perfekte Wohlfühloase

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen 14 Tage in der Villa Louisa und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, Geschirr ist mehr als ausreichend vorhanden und auch die Ausstattung mit Küchenhelfern ist für eine Ferienwohnung perfekt. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt, der Pool ist groß genug um auch mal darin Volleyball zu spielen. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist sehr geschmackvoll bis ins kleinste Detail. Die Terrasse mit den verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten hat einenTraumblick aufs Meer. Es gibt einen Grill, den wir auch gerne benutzt haben. Mails mit Fragen zum Objekt wurden umgehend beantwortet. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett. In der Wohnung ist alles vorbildlich beschriftet, es gibt zu den Elekrogeräten auch die Bedienungsanleitungen was z.B. nach einem Stromausfall hilfreich sein kann. Es gibt außerdem viele Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung und etliche Reisefüher, Landkarten usw. An der Pinnwand sind die Adressen bzw. Speisekarten der besten Restaurants in der Gegend. Wer Ruhe sucht wird sie hier finden. Abends hört man ab und zu die Glöckchen der Schafe in der Nähe, ansonsten nur die Geräusche der Natur. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und würden das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Danke für einen gelungenen Kreta Urlaub!

Sehr schönes Haus mit Blick auf die Umgebung

Wir waren zwei Wochen im August in diesem Haus und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Alles ist vorhanden und es ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein echt großes Plus ist der eigene Pool, in dem man sich, so oft man es braucht, abkühlen kann. In den Sommermonaten ein absoluter Genuss. Im nächsten Dorf, Kalyves findet man schon alles was man braucht von verschiedenen Lebensmittelgeschäften bis hin zu Restaurants und Kneipen. Das Meer ist auch nicht weit. Die Anfahrt über steile Betonpiste ist nur am Anfang abenteuerlich, dann hat man sich daran gewöhnt. Alles in allem fanden wir es sehr schön dort und können das Haus empfehlen. Einen kleinen Minuspunkt muss ich leider vermerken, die Betten sind alle sehr hart und daher konnten wir nicht so gut schlafen. Auch kühlt das Haus im August nicht sehr runter, von daher wäre es schön, eine Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern zu haben. Wenn hier nochmal nachgebessert würde, bekäme das Haus alle 5 Sterne von mir. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern ist problemlos und sehr persönlich, Fragen werden schnell beantwortet. Daher bitte nicht böse sein, wenn ich hier meine kleinen Minuspunkte vergebe. Wir hatten alles in allem einen sehr schönen Urlaub auf Kreta!

Great house, very beautiful view.

We spent two weeks at Pentecost in the very beautiful house. The contacts and information in advance were very good and personalized. The house itself is simply wonderful. It is very clean and neat, inside and out. The pool, the kitchen, the bathrooms, everything is very well-kept and in top shape. The view of the sea, the many beautiful seating areas, there is always a shady spot somewhere. We can only recommend the house and felt very comfortable. Thank you for everything.

Super huis

We spent 12 days in this amazing house with the kids. The house is very well equipped and feels very comfortable. Beautiful views and a lovely pool, close to the charming village of Kalyves. Other nice places are relatively close by, so plenty to do. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was that the beds were a bit hard, which might be something to consider. But that's about it. I would recommend this house to everyone, especially families.

Our dream vacation in Villa Louisa

We had the great pleasure of spending nearly 2 weeks at this dreamlike place. The house is modern, spacious, and well-equipped with a lot of attention to detail. The view of the sea and the entire property captivates from the first second until the end. Additionally, on the premises, there is a dreamlike, old olive tree under which you can let your soul dangle in a hammock. The pool not only invites you to splash around but also to swim, and it is cleaned weekly. The property is located on a hill, so we highly recommend renting a car as there is practically nothing within walking distance. However, you will enjoy absolute exclusivity and tranquility. The location is excellent as you can quickly reach many beautiful beaches and villages. Additionally, the cities of Chania and Rethymnon are definitely worth a visit. Beautiful Crete. And last but not least, we would like to highlight the great and always friendly contact with the Draack family. Really great and keep it up.
