The three-winged complex with living quarters and workshops is very similar to the clothiers' buildings in Eupen. Extensive manufacturing facilities were located in the basements. Opposite, on the other side of the road, used to be the weaver's corner of the factory. Somewhat below, on the street in the Rosenthal, is the tall former office, manufactory and warehouse building of the Elbers company.
