Description
On the ranch there are 3 wooden houses in western style, a Real Texas Saloon, a tepee, a new covered wagon, a large rustic campfire and BBQ area on the shore of Horse Lake and a large grazing area for ponies, donkeys and goats.
The ranch houses are rustically furnished with a fireplace in the living room, built-in wooden kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with wooden bathtub and 2 bedrooms as well as a 21 m² covered terrace. For Indian friends or adventure lovers there is also a tepee and a covered wagon to spend the night. The tipi as well as the covered wagon are ideal for a father-son weekend. Our animals (ponies, donkeys and goats) not only make the hearts of our little guests beat faster. You are also welcome to bring your own horse. Guest horses get their own piece of pasture, but without a stable.
On Wednesdays during the season we have our American BBQ in the saloon. In the saloon you can enjoy cosy western romance with a cool drink or a round of billiards
Our animal watering hole, the Horse Lake, is a 500m² pond which can be used by children for fishing training. For big fishing enthusiasts, a licence-free 10 hp fishing and excursion boat is ready and waiting in the harbour on the Saaler Bodden, approx. 300 m away.
There is also a bicycle rental service on the premises.

Location and surroundings of object
The ranch is located directly on the Bodden cycle path to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst Baltic Sea peninsula. The Neuendorf harbour with a small bathing area and the possibility of surfing and kiting are also about 300 m away. Neuendorf is a small, quiet village on the southern coast of the Saaler Bodden between Barth and Ribnitz-Damgarten. The village has two small harbours and bathing facilities. Nature is intact and invites you to go hiking and cycling. It takes only a few minutes by car to reach the Baltic Sea peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst or the Hanseatic cities of Rostock / Warnemünde and Stalsund. Sporty guests can also reach the beaches of the Baltic Sea peninsula by bicycle. Depending on your stamina, you can also combine bicycle and ferry.

Successful short holiday
Stylish clean cottage where we loved the fireplace at this time of year. We had a super relaxing time despite the short time.

A dream ...
Once upon a time there was an emigrant who found his way back to Germany after a few years in North America: Jan Ahlendorf.
From then on, he set to work and created one of the most beautiful spots of American (Western) soil in Germany out of nothing: the Horse Lake Ranch.
Here he lives his dream of the wild west. He doesn't do this egotistically and alone; no, he lets every one of his guests participate, as far as they want. However, if they are afflicted with the "package tourist syndrome", healing is not necessarily out of the question; the target group, however, should rather carry a little soft spot for the USA in their hearts.
Thus, the stay in this authentic idyll is not only suitable to let the soul dangle, rather the overall experience is so brilliantly rounded that a thank you for this wonderful, for us several days and evenings lasting, time-out is almost mandatory
We occupied two wooden houses and a holiday flat over a "long weekend". Even if we won't/can't be there "on the dot" for the opening of the planned saloon, there will definitely be a reunion.
Oh yes, but then with advance notice for a BBQ in Western style, I'm already looking forward to that ...
