Söll is an idyllically situated municipality in the Austrian district of
Kufstein in Tyrol. It is located in a basin of the Sölllandl on the border between the slate mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps and the northern foothills of the limestone Alps. Ellmauer Halt is the highest Kaisergipfel (2,344 meters high). Here you get a fabulous view. A fascinating rock scenery is shown on the Gamsängersteig. It gets a bit more difficult on the demanding Kaiserschützensteig. The second-highest Kaisergipfel is called Ackerlspitze and is also accessible via beautiful routes. Other popular peaks are Treffauer, Maukspitze, Totenkirchl, Fleischbank, or Predigtstuhl. The Hintersteiner See is rightly considered one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Tyrol.
