Description
Villa Cremona is an old Art Nouveau villa built in 1910. The first owner, the conductor of the spa orchestra, named it after his Italian hometown Cremona. A later owner, the poet August Herrmann, immortalised our villa in the monograph 'My Paradise Bansin'. At the beginning of the 1990s, the villa was in poor condition, but was completely restored from 1993 to 1994. For this purpose, the house was hollowed out except for the facades and almost completely rebuilt from the inside. An extension that was not part of the original building fabric was also demolished. In addition, the garden was completely redesigned, but the old trees were preserved. We are particularly proud of the old fence in front of the house, which was painstakingly restored by hand. The building, together with the entrance canopy and fence, is a listed building.
In February 2020, our Villa Cremona will be the location for the latest Usedom crime thriller, with the working title: 'Nachtschatten & Vom Geben und Nehmen'.
Villa Cremona offers 4 beautiful holiday flats, ranging in size from 30 to 65sqm.

Location and surroundings of object
Villa Cremona is located in a quiet side street, about 5 minutes walk to the promenade, beach and town centre. Also within walking distance in about 5 minutes is the small shopping centre with supermarket, post office, drugstore, flower and bicycle shop and a photo shop. In the south-east of Usedom, the well-known and traditional three imperial spas, Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck, are seemingly boundless. The smallest and youngest of the elegant pearls of the Usedom Baltic coast is the dreamy, somewhat less well-known but no less beautiful spa town of Bansin, which is considered an insider tip by insiders. Life pulsates on the 70 m wide and 10 km long white, stone-free beach, as well as on its beautiful promenades, the pier and the beach promenade, where you can stroll almost effortlessly in front of the historical backdrop of the imposing Wilhelmine villas with the luxurious charm of the Wilhelminian period, to the two other imperial resorts. Likewise, the fishing boats in the water and on the beach are reminiscent of the solitude and tranquillity not far away. Bansin can boast two important innovations: it has a promenade with an unobstructed view of the sea and in the 1920s it received the first German open-air bathing permit, allowing guests to move freely along the beach in their bathing costumes, thus making bathing establishments superfluous. In Bansin, many restaurants and cafés invite you to linger. The traditional Café Asgard, furnished in a retro style and located directly on the promenade, is particularly charming, and the restaurant Achterdeck, which may not be as attractive from the outside but is very cosily furnished, is also located on the promenade near the tourist information office. The Schloon-Idill is also a very nice place to sit, a pretty café with outdoor dining located directly on the Schloonsee.

Sehr gelungener Urlaub
Wir waren begeistert von der idealen Lage und Zuschnitt und Ausstattung der sehr schönen Ferienwohnung. Sehr angenehm war es auch, sich an heißen Nachmittagen im halbschattigen Garten aufzuhalten.
