Situated in a peaceful setting and within walking distance of the medieval castle of Óbidos, Quinta da Olivia offers distinctive accommodation and is in an ideal location for visiting Óbidos. Centrally located on the Costa de Prata (Silver Coast), our accommodation is also an excellent base for exploring the region with beautiful beaches, historical sites and golf courses.
The 2.5 hectare estate is fully walled and guests can relax, walk and enjoy the spectacular views of Óbidos Castle.
Quinta da Olivia has 6 rooms (Bed & Breakfast) and 3 1 bedroom flats, completely renovated, for a comfortable stay. Each unit has a private terrace with magnificent views of the orange trees, the pool and the grounds.
In the main building there is a breakfast room and lounge area where guests can relax (read a book, play games or surf the internet).
Óbidos is the most romantic town in Portugal and a National Heritage Site. It is a medieval castle, a synthesis of the arts with medieval, Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance elements. Each age has left its stone traces in the city.
The city wall has also been preserved in large parts and is very suitable for a walk around the city. Due to the elevated position, you have many interesting insights into the backyards and houses of the city from the wall.
Óbidos can almost be described as a kind of huge open-air museum, but there is no entrance fee and the narrow streets and old buildings give it a lot of atmosphere.

For the flats we have a minimum stay of 4 nights. The flats have a double bed (160 × 200 cm) in the bedroom and a sofa bed (140 × 180 cm) in the living room. Each flat can accommodate up to 4 people.
