The Ludwig pin in Burrweiler was built in the years 1911 to 1912 as a church property. In 2007 the renovation property was remodeled with great attention to detail and the preservation of ancient relics in a commercial and residential building. The property is nestled in the vineyards on the southern outskirts of Burrweiler with exposed views of the Rhine valley. The 1200 year old, handsome winemaker Burrweiler village lies on the edge of the Haardt mountains and at the foot of Mount Anna. It is easily reached by bus or car. In the narrow, dreamy alleys, between the old wine houses and village wells, the time seems to have stood still. Here is paired typical Palatinate coziness with the romance of centuries past and the comforts of the present.
