The vacation home "La Girondine" is located in a hilly, wooded area near the Dordogne river. The house is detached with a spacious south-facing terrace. There is a garden table with chairs and sunbeds available. There is a swimming pool with a heat pump. The garden is spacious and fully fenced. Air conditioning is available in the living area (ground floor) and in the 4 bedrooms (first floor). Satellite TV (TV Vlaanderen) and free wifi are provided. Free parking is available in the spacious underground garage (2 parking spaces) or behind the house. A fireplace and electric heating are available for cool evenings. Separate laundry room with washing machine, dryer, drying rack, iron.
There is a separate toilet on the ground floor with sink.
The kitchen has a gas stove, as well as a microwave and oven. A dishwasher and refrigerator are also available. On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms, each with a double bed (160cm/200cm). Pillows and duvets are abundantly available. The bathroom is also located on the first floor and is equipped with a sink, bathtub, and shower. There is a separate toilet on the first floor. The maintenance of the pool is taken care of by our person (Mr. Jean-paul Garrigue) on site. He comes by several times to check the water quality. Please do not add any products to the pool water yourself. If you have any questions or comments about the quality or temperature of the swimming water, please contact Jean-Paul.
Arrival: from 3 p.m.
Departure: from 9 a.m. our cleaning service starts in the bedrooms. Please remove your luggage from the bedrooms before 9 a.m. Departure from the property: 10 a.m.

Address of property: chemin des galajoux no. 1661 in Bergerac. The property is situated on a hill: guests can drive in through the open gate to the back of the house. To the left of the front door, there is a key box with the house keys. The code to open this box will be emailed to you no later than 14 days before the departure date.

Hello! We are Johan and Els, and both of us are full-time working fifty-somethings. For us, vacation means time to slow down, enjoy nature, soak up local culture, and of course, sample the local delicacies. The quiet, green surroundings by the banks of the Dordogne river; the beautiful historical inner city of Bergerac; the numerous gastronomic options in the Périgord region are the perfect mix for us to escape the daily rush. Looking for our own little place in this region, a few years ago we stumbled upon the holiday home "La Girondine" by chance... It was love at first sight! The detached house with a spacious terrace and pool, surrounded by a large garden, more than met what we were looking for. This became—and still is—our little paradise on earth...
