Beckingen is a charming community in the green district of Merzig-Wadern in Saarland. It is the starting point of numerous premium hiking trails, and in less than half an hour you can reach the Saarland's landmark - the SAARSCHLEIFE - and the reservoir in Losheim.
Many charming little towns such as Merzig, Saarlouis, Saarburg and Trier invite you to stroll and shop.
There is also plenty to discover culturally, such as the Völklingen Ironworks World Heritage Site, Villa Borg, the Roman mosaic and of course the oldest city in Germany...Trier.

Geweldig!
Een hartelijke ontvangst! Wij waren de eerste huurders van deze vakantiewoning. Een schoon, gezellig en eigentijds ingericht huis. Het bed heeft een goede matras, we hebben heerlijk geslapen.
Een goed ingerichte keuken en badkamer.
We misten een paar kleinigheden en toen we dit bij de verhuurder aangaven, was ze hier blij mee.
De omgeving is prachtig. Je kunt er mooie wandelingen maken. Saarburg en Saarlouis liggen op korte afstand evenals Luxemburg en Frankrijk.
We hebben een fijne en mooie vakantie gehad!

After a few steps you are on the hiking and cycling trails known for our region. Here you can enjoy heavenly peace and quiet and many interesting places worth seeing in the surrounding area. Water sports enthusiasts can also get their money's worth at the reservoir in Losheim. Shopping facilities for all your daily needs are approx. 2km away. A railway station is also only 4km away. The nearest airport is approx. 60km (SCN) and 70km (LUX) away.
