The house is also suitable for the winter months, because it not only has air conditioning (hot / cold), but also a large fireplace in the living room!
After a green iron gate leads to the private road directly to the light and airy porch that invites you to linger. Dining table and chairs are available.
Parking is available in front of the house, shaded by a traditional olive tree.
The open-plan living / dining room is decorated in a rustic style. The house has a total of 3 bedrooms (3 doubles and 1 x double and 2x2 single beds) and offers enough space for 6 persons. 2 bathrooms (one with shower, one with bath / shower), washing machine and a well equipped kitchen (dt eg. Coffee, Moka, kettle, bread machine) with dishwasher are at guests' disposal. All rooms are equipped with ceramic tiles. A staircase leads to the spacious roof terrace. It offers an unforgettable panorama: olive and almond trees as far as the eye can see.
Behind the house the brick dining area (table and bench), the gives a pleasant shade during particularly warm days.
Shops of all kinds in Ostuni (about km); Saturday mornings big market. Seaside is the place Villanova, a picturesque fishing village (with a fortress from the XVI. Century.). On request there are diving and sailing courses, boat rentals and boat docks (Lega Navale Italiana). Villanova diving support to bottling. In addition, sales and repair of spare parts.
Numerous excursions: You could visit Lecce, the "queen" of the Baroque and the entire Salento (Otranto, Gallipoli, etc).

Quiet and relaxing idyll
Beautiful house in the countryside, a few minutes by car from Ostuni. We felt very comfortable! Good starting point for excursions both to the varied coast and to interesting and pretty little towns.

idyllic - close to culture - relaxed
As the top three keywords already suggest, we had a wonderful time in southeastern Italy. The house is nestled in the rural surroundings, among beautiful plants. Olive, fig, persimmon trees, prickly pears, and caper bushes have remained vivid in my memory. As we particularly appreciated the cultural offerings, we enjoyed staying in the picturesque city center, about 10 minutes away by car. The road to the beach passes by magnificent olive groves. Due to the location of the country house, one is well protected from the noise of the street. During our stay, we witnessed a procession and the rehearsal of horse and rider for the upcoming patronal feast (very worth seeing), which passed by the property at that time. The Italian and German-speaking owners and landlords have remained in our memory as friendly, authentic, and competent contact persons.
