The house is located in the small village Masurian Szymonka / Schimonken in an exposed location on a 6000 sqm large water property on the shores of Szymonkasees / Grosser Hens lake.
The fenced plot is a slight slope towards the lake; the house Rasen'und terrace, framed by fruit trees and shrubs; towards the lake meadow with a campfire, a barbecue area with maritime grill pan and lots of space to play.
The web passes through a reed belt and has at the end of a water depth of approximately m, rapidly increasing. Here you have complete privacy and can swim to your heart, fish, paddle, surf, sunbathe or simply let time pass.
On web will be provided for a rowing boat, a paddle boat and a Canadian.
The rowing boat is very spacious and can accommodate up to 4 anglers place. It is tip-resistant and in an emergency also absolutely unsinkable. Optionally, it can be used for cultivation of an outboard motorboat to the excursion tours.
The house is ideal for a family with 2 children and has capacity for 4, max 5 persons.

The central location in the heart of Mazury and Anrbindung the Great Mazury Lakes makes an ideal Szymonka Ausgengspunkt for reconnaissance trips by car, bike or boat.
So the tranquil resort Ryn / Rhein lies with its restored French Knight castle from the 14th century. Or the idyllic at the entrance of Spirdingsees gelegenene, in season touristic vibrant Mikolajki / Nikoleiken only each well 10 Km.
The old Mazurian towns Giyzicko / Lözen (25 Km), Mragowo / Sensburg (30 Km), Ketrzn / Rastenburg, or as the Sanctuary Święta Lipka / Holy Linde, the Sztynort / Steinort Castle, the remains of the bunker Wolf's Lair and the Boyen fortress are in a radius of about 30 km.

Holiday in the Masuria
We had a wonderful holiday in this house. The house is very nice, especially the fireplace was very cosy. You can fish very well from the jetty. We will be very happy to come back.

Where to unwind
Twice we had to postpone the trip due to Corona. This year it finally worked out. The Masuria were actually exactly as I had imagined. Everything was wonderfully green, the fields lined with wild flowers, unique avenues of trees and the many wonderful lakes are simply beautiful.
The arrival at the house with the handing over of the keys was without any problems. The house has everything you need. We didn't use the fireplace because it was always 30 degrees. Everyone will find something suitable in the library. My husband read a lot of interesting things about East Prussia. But the hit is the terrace with a great view of the lake, equipped with a large table, 4 chairs and 2 comfortable sun loungers.
The property is beautifully planted around the house. The path to the jetty invites you to walk barefoot. You can swim wonderfully in the lake. There is a pool ladder at the jetty, so you can get in and out easily. The boat is right next to the jetty. There are really big pike. Unfortunately only in the shop. We went fishing several times and only had small fish on the hook.
Nevertheless, we had zander in the taverna in the evening. There is always a dish of the day and often live music on top of it.
In the tiny village shop you can get almost everything you need. You can also pay by card.
If you want to ride a bicycle, you should bring your own. Wide tyres are best. You can't rent a bike
there are none to rent in the vicinity.
In summary, it is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature. You are woken up by the chirping of birds and watch the bats hunting in the evening

Super relaxed vacation
We spent a super-relaxed vacation here with our parents and 2 dogs. The house gave us more of a feeling of staying with friends rather than in a holiday property. Everything was available, the property was a dream, the location ideal for excursions, and even when it was cooler, the evenings by the fireplace were very nice. We also didn't miss television and Wi-Fi, especially since the mobile network in the Polish province is almost better than in Germany. In short, we will definitely come back.

Psssst, Geheimtip!
Dieses Haus hat Seele! Man kann sich in Haus und Umgebung einfach nur wohlfühlen, alles ist so liebevoll und naturverbunden eingerichtet. Man hat jede Menge Freiheit auf dem großen Grundstück, man kann sitzen und einfach nur schauen, Lagerfeuer machen, Boot fahren, angeln, den weiten Himmel Masurens genießen.... Alles ist sauber und gepflegt und das kleine Dorf hat Scharm und sehr liebe Bewohner. Danke an die Familie Rodekamp, dass sie uns in ihrem Haus wohnen lässt und den Masuren-Urlaub zu einem sehr emotionalen Ergebnis werden ließ.

Traumhafte Auszeit
Wir waren rundum zufrieden: von der Abwicklung bei Ankunft und Abreise, über die Einrichtung, die Lage, die Hausbibliothek, den Kamin und die Möglichkeiten, die man in der Umgebung hat.
Man hat alles, was man braucht, vor allem viel Platz und Ruhe. Sehr begeistert waren wir von den Bootsausflügen, die wir direkt ab dem eigenen Steg gemacht haben.
Kurzum: alles super und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Entspannung in Masuren
Von der Lage des Ferienhauses können wir nur schwärmen. Das große Grundstück direkt am See. Immer - vom Haus oder von der Terrasse aus - ein Blick auf den See wie aus dem Bilderbuch, aber alles Realität! Das Ruderboot haben wir gern genutzt, lange auf dem schönen Steg verweilt und auch im See baden können, weil das Wetter so gut war. Im Haus hat uns der Kamin einen gemütlichen Abend geschenkt, und draußen auf der Feuerstelle haben wir zweimal gegrillt. Unsere Ausflugsziele Allenstein, Lyck, Heiligelinde usw. waren schnell zu erreichen. Und am letzten Abend war der Besuch des kleinen Campingplatz-Restaurants ein gelungener Abschluss.

Traumhafte Lage
Wir haben genau das vorgefunden, was wir erhofft hatten und wie die Beschreibung des Ferienhauses ist. Die ruhige direkte Lage am See, das liebevoll, rustikal, teils mit alten Möbel eingerichtete Haus, die gut ausgestattete Küche liesen keine Wünsche offen. Einkaufsmöglichkeit im "Sklep" in nächster Nähe fast rund um die Uhr. Beste Lage um das Herz Masurens mit seinen schönen Städtchen und der wunderbaren Natur zu entdecken. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Boote sind Top i. O. und erlauben ausgedehnte Ausflüge auf den Seen. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Die Reservierung und Buchung fand unkompliziert statt. Die Übergabe und Abnahme des Hauses vor Ort ebenso, zeitlich nach unseren Wünschen.
