A place for relaxation, sport and adventure. Smaland is a region in southern Sweden characterised by hilly countryside, beautiful Småland forests and clear lakes. The holiday home Solgarden is well equipped, family-friendly and has a spacious living area and a large garden.
The holiday home (central heating) has three bedrooms (2 rooms with double beds, 1 room with bunk beds and an extra/folding bed), with plenty of built-in wardrobes.
A baby cot and high chair are also available. Sauna and relax/relaxation room let you forget everyday life. The terrace with fireplace barbecue and three sun loungers invite you to relax.
For children there is an extra large and small playhouse as well as a climbing tower with sandpit and slide. There is a rowing boat and a canoe for exploratory trips at the bathing area/lake (Rumsjön) with a swimming platform and seating.
Life jackets (various sizes) are available for the little explorers.

Location and surroundings of object
In the surrounding area there are good opportunities for fishing (unfortunately not at present in Lake Rumsjön, but fishing for various species of fish is possible on the surrounding lakes with a fishing licence), rowing and paddling on the lake, as well as seating and a bathing platform, hiking or Nordic walking (poles are available).
The holiday home is located directly on the Astrid Lindgren cycle path. All sights around Astrid-Lindgren:

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

Nearby Vimmerby is also known for its typical Småland landscape with bathing lakes, pastures and forests and as the birthplace of the world-famous children's author Astrid Lindgren. The lively small town is characterised by its many old wooden houses. Here you can still find shops with sloping floors, asymmetrical walls and low ceilings.
The "Astrid Lindgren's World" adventure park on the outskirts of the town is a centre of attraction for children and adults who are young at heart. You might also be interested in the elk park, Nils Holgersson's World and the golf courses. The picturesque town centre with small shops, nice restaurants and historical sites is also a good reason to come to Vimmerby. Two moose parks, gorges for hiking (Skurugata) and a small mine with the opportunity to pan for gold will banish any boredom. If the weather is bad, there is a child-friendly swimming pool in Hultsfred and a children's play centre in Vimmerby. The holiday home Solgarden is situated in a secluded and idyllic location, it is spacious and child-friendly. The 3000 sqm garden and the children's play area as well as the sun loungers ensure a relaxing holiday. We look forward to welcoming you.

A Swedish vacation as it should be
If you are looking for a very beautiful holiday home for yourself and your family, then this Solgarden holiday home is just right for you. The spacious and well-equipped Solgarden holiday home is located in a quiet and charming location. The completely fenced plot offers you plenty of privacy. It impresses above all with its incredible view of the Småland natural landscape.
If you are looking for peace and relaxation in the middle of idyllic nature and still do not want to live far away, then this typical comfortable country house is exactly right for you. It is ideal for families with children, who have plenty of space to play. Nearby is Astrid Lingren's World, Bullerbü, Lönneberga (Katthult), an elk park and a canoe and rowing boat on the lake. We had a great holiday. Thanks to the owners, Hans and Anke.

Very nice holiday home in the center of the Astrid Lindgren World
Very nice and quiet holiday home at the outskirts of Skäfshult. No mass tourism. The house is well equipped and the service is very good. This will not be the last vacation in this holiday home. In addition, we had great weather.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Ferienhaus Solgarden liegt sehr günstig für viele Aktivitäten für Familien mit Kindern oder auch für Paare. Die Palette reicht vom interessanten Glasreich über Bullerbü, Lönneberga (Katthult)bis hin zu tollen landschaftlichen Sehenwürdigkeiten (Skurugaschlucht, Trollegatar. Das Ferienhaus liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage mit großem Garten und dem naheliegenden Badesee Rumsjön
free time activities: Zwei Wochen reichen einfach nicht aus, um sich die vielen Sehenwürdigkeiten anzuschauen. Hervorzuheben wäre für uns die Kleva Gruva mit Bergwerkssee und Goldwaschen im Anschluss.
shopping facilities: Der nächste Supermakt und eine Pizzeria ist ca 4 km entfernt. In Vimmerby (13 km) ist der große ICA-Einkaufsmarkt auch am Sonntag geöffnet.
