The rural charm of village life in Buzsák ... the guest house was once the home of grandparents, full of many experiences. Based on these experiences, this property offers wonderful feelings in a modern environment while being able to leave the values and atmosphere of the village house.
The guest house room was originally a "summer kitchen". Now, with an extra large bed and a semi-rigid quality mattress, it offers comfortable sleeping accommodation for 2 people.
The spacious flat, accessible from the veranda of the guest house, offers comfortable accommodation for 8 people and is also a good choice for families.
The larger room of the guest house was originally a guest room for the grandparents at the time. With huge old carved beds, mattresses made of straw and the large mirrored wardrobe. Mum's Singer sewing machine was also in this room, which now graces the terrace. There are some beautiful embroideries by grandmother that now decorate the guest house. It now comfortably sleeps 4 people with high quality mattresses.
The smaller room is accessible, created from the grandparents' bedroom. It comfortably accommodates 2 people, and a barrier-free bathroom has been installed next to this room.
Between the two rooms is the Provençal-style living room with sofa and reading corner. This is a spacious common room with a dining room and a kitchen renovated in vintage style. This kitchen is a successful blend of tradition and modernity: guests have access to a dishwasher, a cooker, a fridge with freezer compartment, a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine, for which we provide a few capsules.
Quality wine and mineral water await you in the fridge! Free wifi is available. There are two bathrooms in the flat, one of which is barrier-free. Both bathrooms have a shower, free bathrobes and towels are available, also: shower gel, shampoo, soap, body lotion and hairdryer.
In the beautifully landscaped garden, our dear guests also have access to a 7-person jacuzzi (for a fee for the first heating up) and a Finnish garden sauna, so that you can relax pleasantly at any time of the day. On the covered terrace, an outdoor heater, barbecue and high-quality garden furniture provide comfort. Free parking is possible in the enclosed courtyard of the guesthouse. Two touring bikes are available, with which our guests can make exciting trips to Somogyvámos or even to Lake Balaton. It is possible to walk to the covered cellar rows in the surrounding area or to the chapel. Buzsák is a true jewel of Somogy County. Its flourishing traditions, architectural sights, traditional events and thermal baths are attractive to tourists at any time of the year. Buzsák is known throughout the country for its folk art, including its embroidery, woodcarvings and dances. Visit this idyllic little village near Lake Balaton, spend a few nights in our guesthouse and we guarantee that all our guests will have a great, eventful rest!
