In 2009 we fulfilled our dream of a holiday home in Norway and built our Norgeytte in Eigenregien together with friends. An unusual but high-quality holiday home, all on one level. With 4 bedrooms (up to 8 persons) with a large living-dining area, a modern and well-equipped kitchen, you will find everything you are used to, only in the middle of nature. A modern bathroom with sauna helps you to relax. There is also a separate toilet with washing machine and dryer.
The 70 sqm terrace invites you to relax! The fireplace in front of the house, with a view of the lake and waterfall, helps you to forget everyday life. The surrounding area offers pure nature for hiking, biking, swimming and fishing. The nearby coast, with the
risör & Kragerö are easy to reach and offer a change to the stay in the nature.
In winter, the cross-country ski trails around the Hytten area are groomed, and in nearby Gautefall (approx. 45 minutes drive) you will find a ski area with modern lifts and cross-country ski trails, which are also lit in winter.
The hytte is situated on a 1200 m² natural plot of land, with parking right outside the front door.
How to get there: Our hytte is located just off the E18 from Oslo to Kristiansandt. From Oslo Gardemoen airport it takes about 3.45 hours to get there. From Oslo, Color Line ferry terminal, it is a good 3.15 hours. From the ferry ports of Larvik and Kristiansand it takes less than 2 hours.
In addition, the airports Oslo Torp and Kristiansandt can be reached very easily with KLM from Germany via Amsterdam.
Our housekeeper takes care of the final cleaning and provides bed linen and towels on request. A final cleaning is mandatory! This is the only way to ensure that the property is 100% clean!

Location and surroundings of object
Our cottage is situated in a nature reserve in Telemark at an altitude of approx. 400m. There are three lakes in the area, a bathing lake with a bathing island and a small beach within a few minutes walk. In the region there are endless hiking trails, bike trails. It takes about 45 - 60 minutes by car to reach the coast.
If you are looking for absolute tranquillity in nature, but also like to go on an excursion, you have come to the right place!

Hello, we, Tessa & Sven Winter, have been Norway fans for over 30 years and live in the middle of nature in Kelkheim in the Taunus.
