A true "refuge of tranquillity" in a very quiet location on the outskirts of the village with a very large plot (1600 sqm), which invites you to a relaxing stay under large shady trees and a large lawn. Almost the entire property is surrounded by Uhudler wine. Our guests are welcome to help themselves to fruit (there are also several walnut trees and 2 plum trees)!

Location and surroundings of object
From Vienna 2 hours drive, from Budapest about 2 hours, about 1 hour from Graz - 27 km from Heiligenkreuz border crossing, 16 km from Körmend, about 20 km from Zalalövö. From Munich 510 km. Therme Szentgotthard 26 km (beautiful and inexpensive!), Therme Körmend 29km, top-modern with large outdoor area and lots of space to relax. Massage jets. Very beautiful, large bathing lake (Barastyán tó) with wonderful sunbathing lawn, playground and restaurant in 10 km as the crow flies (15 ), 2 small shops in the village, hypermodern supermarkets in 15 min/car distance (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Plus). Our house is situated on a small, hardly used road at the edge of the village. Holiday activities from here are concentrated in this particularly scenic county. Spa holidays (thermal baths St. Gotthardt and Körmend), hiking holidays, bathing holidays, recreation, Felsömarac is a relatively large village with a very traditional Hungarian character. It is situated in the Örseg Nature Park, almost directly on the Raba River, in a hilly, natural, primeval forest landscape. Here you can still experience nature unspoilt. The orioles flutter around the house. Deer, hares, storks, grey herons and white egrets, cormorants as well as pheasants can be observed during walks (directly from the house), hoopoe and green woodpecker come to visit in the garden. Excursions to the small Balaton bird sanctuary and buffalo reserve, Zalaegerszeg open-air museum, Keszteley with castle. Nature trail with medicinal spring. The nearby Burgenland also offers a lot of beautiful things!

Dog holiday
I'm not much of a writer. But since our holiday was so great and Siggi is so nice I just have to give a review.
We will be back in Felsömarak next year. That says it all, doesn't it?
