Enjoy your holiday in our house by the lake in the Harz mountains on two levels with up to four people! A modern, very friendly and light-flooded house awaits you, which will convince people who love the concept of open living. In the modern ambience, you will enjoy being able to look out into the green and blue everywhere.
Idyllically situated by the Waldsee lake, the Haus am See in the Harz Mountains invites you to spend wonderfully relaxing holidays. In the Harz Nature Park you can go hiking, mountain biking or fishing. In the Waldsee lake directly in front of the house, you can cool off in hot temperatures by swimming or stand-up paddling. Or just relax and do nothing - the terrace with a view of the Waldsee, the small garden, the cosily furnished living room and the sauna directly in the house offer the best opportunities for relaxation and deceleration!
A fully equipped, well-maintained kitchen awaits you in the Haus am See in the Harz, which has Siemens built-in brand appliances: Dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker and toaster are at your disposal. We have also equipped the kitchen with a Nespresso machine and a selection of capsules to try - so even Nespresso fans (like us) get their money's worth. For tea drinkers, we provide a selection of high-quality Ronnefeldt teavelopes.
Of course, we have free wifi in the house.
The sleeping accommodations are distributed over two rooms in the holiday home: the sleeping gallery with a view of the lake and a bedroom in the lower area. The house is designed for a maximum of four people.
We bought the house in February 2023. Therefore, please do not be surprised that there are no reviews from our guests yet.

Location and surroundings of object
The Haus am See is located in the Waldsee holiday park on the edge of the mountain and university town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld, directly on the Upper Herzhausberg Pond. the sandy bathing area is 30 metres from the house. In the forest right next to the holiday park you can go hiking, jogging or just for a walk. No city or motorway noise penetrates through the forest - you can enjoy peace and relaxation on the terrace of the house by the lake.
Directly nearby is the OutdoorCenter Harz (900m through the forest), where you can rent mountain bikes and eBikes. There you can also practice archery on a 3D archery course or learn to do so in archery courses. For hiking, there are numerous hiking routes in the immediate vicinity. You can get hiking maps in the pedestrian zone of Clausthal at the Tourist Information (Adolph-Roemer Str. 27) or with the app KartoGuideHarz (produced locally in Wernigerode!).

We have acquired the house by the lake in the Harz Mountains in February 2023 and would like to make this beautiful holiday home available to holiday guests from time to time. We are convinced that you will be delighted with the house and its location with a direct view of the Waldsee. We both work full time and live in Hanover. We were very impressed by the house by the lake in the Harz mountains from the first glance during our own holiday about two years ago! We were very happy that it was put up for sale a short time later. We ourselves also spend a few weeks there each year in summer to escape the city heat and furnish the house accordingly so that we ourselves also feel comfortable there.
