Location and surroundings of object
El Perelló is a village in Catalonia, on the Costa Dorada, about 150 km south of Barcelona. It is two kilometres to the village and six kilometres to the beach with many bays.
From here you can start your excursions into the nearby mountains with picturesque villages, hike along the Ebro, climb ancient Templar castles or discover Iberian ibexes in the Els Ports National Park, 40 km away.
Conquer cities that are more than 2000 years old, such as Tarragona or Tortosa. Walk in the footsteps of Miró and Picasso in the surrounding villages or visit pure Art Nouveau on a shopping tour in Reus. Have a spiritual experience in famous monasteries or hermitages.
Throw yourself into adventure at the Port Aventura adventure park and get on the highest roller coaster in Europe or splash around in the Aqua Park. Join in the celebrations at numerous fiestas.
See the Ebro Delta with its endless rice fields, criss-crossed by canals, some of which were built by the Romans, and take a boat trip to the estuary. Discover flamingos, ibises, herons and cormorants. Collect large shells on endlessly long and wide beaches and watch the kysters.
Or simply swim in the sea, drink a glass of red wine in the evening over fresh fish from the famous wine regions in the area and unwind in the surrounding fishing villages.
