If an old Salento atmosphere dominates inside the houses, outside nature takes over again with olive trees, lemon trees, jasmine, laurel trees and bougainvillea. An attempt was made to create a personalised garden reflecting the image of who would live in it. Since the residence would be lived in mainly during the summer, outdoor life was favoured, creating cheerful pergolas and gazebos furnished in colonial style, conceived as moments to be lived in absolute tranquillity. A large patio opens like a window onto the surrounding landscape. An attempt has been made to favour an idea of open space, creating very airy and relaxing environments.
From each dwelling, the gaze sweeps over the lawn, the scrub of flowering bushes and hedges. The park and privacy of the rooms make Tenuta Belvedere an ideal place for families with children or couples of friends and groups who want to be together without giving up their independence. Every corner of the property is imbued with ancient flavours.
When the sun gives way to evening, new lighting effects enliven the park thanks to the arrangement of various light points recessed under the plants, placed in such a way as to illuminate in a suffused manner .
The passing of the years has not managed to tarnish the personality of a residence that has always represented a sort of oasis, and its particular position at the entrance to Otranto indicates that the place is a jewel of the Mediterranean landscape.
