Miami Platja is located in the southern part of the Costa Daurada, directly on the Mediterranean Sea and is easily accessible via the Barcelona-Valencia motorway, which is only a few kilometres away, or the parallel country road. There is also a train station in Hospitalet de L'Infant, Miami Platja's neighbour. For those arriving by plane, it is best to land either in Barcelona (115 km) or Reus (14 km).
Miami Platja has more than 300 days of sunshine a year, making it an excellent quiet seaside resort for relaxing holidays on almost any day of the year. Many kilometres of sandy beaches, with rocky bays created by nature, leave nothing to be desired by water sports enthusiasts. Because of the spaciousness of the beaches, there is hardly any shortage of space or crowding on the sandy Mediterranean beach, even in the high season. The healthy climate in Miami Platja is not only influenced by the iodine-rich sea breezes of the Mediterranean Sea, but also by an alpine mountain range 12 km behind Miami.
