'I MORAIOLI' is an Agriturismo in the heart of Tuscany: a terrace overlooking the Chianti region. The property is located in the vicinity (about 200 m) of Montebenichi, an ancient stronghold of Siena in the Middle Ages. It is an old farmhouse; part of the building dates back to 400 AD. After having been abandoned for many decades, it was renovated in the 1990s and the house was brought back to life. The owner family, which is the same one that runs the farmhouse business, has tried, both in the restoration of the building and in the choice of interior furnishings, and in the context surrounding the house, to revive the typical traditions of the Tuscan farmhouse and to maintain harmony with the surrounding nature.
