Our holiday home captivates with its unique view, its silence
Its tranquillity, its vastness and its romance. On a clear day you can see the 3 highest mountain ranges of Crete from our spacious terraces.
You can also enjoy a view of the palace complex of Festos directly opposite and of the Libyan Sea with its islands to the south.
The holiday home consists of 2 individual flats, which can be rented together or separately.
Our holiday flats: to flat 3 "Aphrodite", suitable for 2 pers. belongs a large round natural stone dance floor, which you can use alone for sunbathing, sleeping, reading and relaxing. In addition, you have a small balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains and the sea. A very beautifully designed large kitchen (dishwasher/electric cooker), living area and wood-burning cooker complete this holiday flat, large bedroom with parquet flooring, double bed, mirrored wardrobe, ceiling fan.

Our holiday house "Xasteria" with its 2 holiday apartments
is situated about 500m outside of Kamilari on a hill with the described
with a wonderful view of the valley, the mountains and the sea
the sea. In the village there are typical Cretan taverns (5 min. walk) and a small well-stocked supermarket.
You can jog through the olive trees to the sea in 20 min
or in 5 min. by car to the Komo sandy beach with its vastness, clear water and shady trees.
Somewhat away from tourism and therefore with the greatest attachment to Crete and its inhabitants, our house is located on the outskirts of the village of Kamilari in the south of Crete, about 3km from the sea. It offers you an overwhelming view into the "Messara", the most fertile valley of Crete, in the middle of which lies the Minoan palace complex "Festos" (approx. 1km away). The morning sun floods this valley from the eastern mountains, and in the evening the sunset from the sea is extremely impressive. The old village of Kamilari, with its 300 inhabitants, lies about 1km off the road that leads from Festos to Matala

Dreamlike view
The furnishings are good, the kitchen and living area very spacious, the beds comfortable, the terraces very spacious and with a wonderful view, neighbouring houses practically invisible. Ideal for individualists. Just as good for guests who want to experience the landscape and culture as for those who also like to stay at the house. Car recommended. Good and very wholesome food at Milonas and in the pizzeria.
