The apartment was very clean and extremely well-equipped. From extra pillows and blankets to sauna infusions and a fully equipped kitchen, all wishes were fulfilled. My points of criticism, which of course always depend on the viewer: We arrived with our small child. Unfortunately, the curtains in the bedroom do not really darken well and there are no shutters. Without a child, I wouldn't have cared about that earlier, to be honest. But with a child, it's a bit difficult. I found the check-in time from 4 pm a bit late, but that's also an individual feeling. We have already stayed in the holiday park once before, and one should be aware that the village is in the middle of nowhere. There is no supermarket, and the possibilities for activities are very limited. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend the apartment, we felt very comfortable! :)

Beautiful holiday apartment that leaves nothing to be desired.

The photos and description of the Vinkennest holiday apartment at the Diemelsee already promised a lot, but on site we were surprised by how beautiful the whole vacation village and especially this apartment is. Perfectly equipped with everything a family with children needs for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Numerous games, coloring and crafting supplies, books and movies, as well as two Smart TVs provided great entertainment for everyone. The apartment is lovingly and beautifully furnished and truly leaves nothing to be desired. Sauna, sun umbrella, high chair, microwave, first aid kit- nothing is missing! In good weather, we grilled on the terrace with a view of the lake and overall, we felt like guests at a friend's place! We will definitely come back!

Simply put, come in and feel comfortable. The apartment is really fully and very tastefully furnished. In terms of equipment, nothing is missing. We were pleasantly surprised by everything that was there even though nothing was stated. Even a lot of spices, tea, coffee, filters..., everything is there! The apartment is very tastefully decorated, very clean, and everything is tip-top. We just hope that it will be respected so that later tenants can also enjoy it. Children are also considered. There are games, Lego, books, and stuffed animals. We will definitely come back gladly.

Our blended family felt very comfortable here. Everything was well thought out down to the last detail. The children don't want to go home anymore :-) We visited Willingen twice, which only took about 20 minutes. We experienced a lot and happy, satisfied, rejuvenated we are going home! What a great and beautiful apartment. We spent a week there with lots of activities. The first days were very warm, but thanks to the good curtains, it was very comfortable inside. There is a lot to see in the area. We cycled along the lake and also rode our bikes to Bad Arosen. There are many ups and downs. Beautiful surroundings that invite you to hike. Unfortunately, we rented the apartment under false pretenses, as there was a second TV present but not usable. Since I rented the apartment only under this condition, I was very disappointed on-site. Due to my disability (I am dependent on a wheelchair), I spend most of my time in the vacation apartment - or in the bedroom.

Very lovingly furnished apartment, great equipment, you immediately feel comfortable, there is even a stand-up paddle available :))) The apartment is located at the top of the mountain, which is nice because it offers a great view, but you should be good on foot. It was a shame that there were no shopping facilities directly on site and not much gastronomy nearby.

Very cute apartment, perfect for families. Our kids had a lot of fun with the available toys and felt comfortable right away. It was very clean and tidy, with plenty of towels available and we did not miss anything else. We would come back immediately. The only thing I found a bit annoying (but yes, that's really complaining on a high level) was that only the option to book a travel cot was available. We were traveling with 2 toddlers and a second bed would have been really helpful for us.

When we came in here, we felt like we were at home. We found everything we needed, except unfortunately toilet paper. The children loved it here because the cupboards are full of toys. The flat is really in an extraordinarily good condition

Every little detail was taken care of and we wanted for nothing. Above all, we were thrilled with the equipment for the children. From potties and toilet seats to cots with mattresses, plasters, toys for all ages, children's crockery and cutlery and high chairs, everything is there. The washing machine with laundry tub and drying rack are also really helpful, because you can wash the wet towels from the sauna directly. The kitchen is also super equipped. We also liked the small electric candles that go on by themselves in the evening according to the timer. This way you can find your way around at night without having to turn on the lights. All in all, you can feel the love with which the flat was furnished. Thank you very much for that!

The Vinkennest is an absolutely fabulous oasis

Everything is lovingly and tastefully furnished and really incredibly high quality!!!! Nothing is missing and everything has been thought of. We were there for three days with our baby. The baby chair, changing station etc were worth their weight in gold. We were able to relax wonderfully in the really great sauna. With the underfloor heating and the generally great, modern condition of this flat, you feel more than luxuriously taken care of. The check-in and communication went really smoothly. There is even a great bread delivery service on site which worked 1A even though we were not there in season. This flat was exactly what we were looking for for a short trip and even exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much for this!

The stay at the Vinekennest was wonderful

It is tastefully decorated, the little ones loved the cute birds and branches in the pictures and the decoration. We were very satisfied, it was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. We were also very pleased with the children's furniture that was provided. We were also very pleased with the folder of activities, nearby restaurants, etc. that was provided. Beautiful holiday flat that leaves nothing to be desired

The photos and the description of the holiday flat Vinkennest at Diemelsee were already very promising but on site we were surprised how beautiful the whole holiday village and especially this flat is.
Perfectly equipped with everything a family with children needs for a relaxing holiday. Numerous games, painting and crafting materials, books and films as well as two smart TVs offered great activities for everyone.
The flat is lovingly and beautifully furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. Sauna, parasol, high chair, microwave, first aid kit - nothing is missing! We had a barbecue on the terrace with a view of the lake in great weather and all in all we had the feeling of being guests of friends! We would definitely like to come back again!

The flat is very clean and comfortably furnished

We felt right at home. Everything was perfect. The sauna is a highlight for cold days. The communication was smooth and we received a quick response. The flat is definitely recommendable.

Simply top!

Simply put, come in and feel at home. The flat is really complete and very tastefully furnished. In terms of equipment, nothing is missing. We were pleasantly surprised by everything that was there, even though there was nothing on the table. Even a lot of spices, tea, coffee, filters..., everything there!
The flat is very tastefully decorated, very clean and everything is tiptop. We only hope that it will be respected so that future tenants will also enjoy it. Children have also been taken care of. There are games, Lego, books and cuddly toys. We will certainly be happy to come back.

Very relaxing holiday

Very tastefully furnished holiday flat and good starting point for hikes and excursions. There was nothing missing in the flat, there was even more than described. In the low season, however, you should check with the restaurants/ bread servers beforehand to see how they are open or if they are on holiday.

A great accommodation with super facilities, just to feel good

Very lovingly furnished flat, super facilities, you feel right at home, there is even a stand up paddle available :)))

The flat is located at the top of the mountain, which is nice on the one hand because you have a great view, but you should be good on foot. It was a pity that there were no shopping facilities directly on site and also not so many restaurants nearby.

Stay end of July

Thank you for the wonderful time in this great holiday flat.
We were able to use the SUP several times and the boys had a lot of fun.
We also went mountain biking and tested the bike park in Willingen.
We will be happy to come back!

Short holiday at the Diemelsee

We were able to spend two wonderful days here in this beautiful holiday flat. Besides the very spacious and well-equipped flat, the sauna and the SUP were a special highlight.
We will gladly come back to relax in this flat with its quiet surroundings.
