Description
Our holiday home Heide Knirps is a beautiful roof-only house in the Heide village of Schneverdingen.
The holiday home was built in 1973 and has been renovated year after year into a modern holiday home.
The fenced-in property is located somewhat to the rear and the driveway to the house is only used by our guests of the house and the immediate neighbouring family. You can park your car directly at the house in its own parking space. From there it is only a few steps to the front door of the house
Two bedrooms - one room with a 140cm wide double bed & one room with 2 single beds 90x200cm, kitchen, shower room and a living-dining area are modernly and comfortably furnished for you here. A children's travel bed as an additional sleeping option, as well as a children's high chair are available free of charge if required. Please give us a short note when booking.
A special feature of the house is the somewhat steeper space-saving staircase leading to the bedrooms. Here we always ask our guests to look carefully at the pictures of the house and consider whether the stairs are suitable for all family members. There is a staircase protection roller blind at the top to give even the smallest ones a sense of safety on the upper floor
The house also includes a small shed for the barbecue and bicycles brought along, etc....
The inventory and the interior design are constantly kept in mint and clean condition. In the house you will find an extensive information folder with sights and excursion tips for the region. The data for your exclusive Internet access, as well as important addresses for doctors, restaurants and parks are also stored there

The small town of Schneverdingen offers everything you need for everyday life
Baker, supermarkets, post office, ice cream parlour and some restaurants, as well as a church parish, a weekly market, various cafés and shops
Particularly popular are the Pietzmoor, the Höpen and the Heidegarten, some of which can be easily reached on foot from the holiday home
On the last weekend of August, the village celebrates the Heideblütenfest (Heath Blossom Festival), which is known far beyond its borders, with a queen and a magnificent procession through the village.
300m from the holiday home is the natural outdoor swimming pool "Heidjers Quellenbad" with integrated caravan site. Highlights are the natural water pool, stream, football and beach volleyball fields, children's mud area, 19-metre wave slide, water ropeway, boules court and an aqua volleyball court.
Schneverdingen is embedded in a rich offer of leisure parks. Heide Park, Serengeti Park and the World Bird Park are just a few of the attractions that can be reached in a few minutes by car from the house.
For families, the Walter Peters Park in Schneverdingen with its mini-golf course and large adventure playground is an absolute highlight
If you prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet and go hiking, the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve is the place to be.
The Pietzmoor, the heath landscape at the Höpen and around the Wilseder Berg, for example, are all just a few minutes away
The use of the free Heide Shuttle is highly recommended for cycling or hiking tours, as it allows you to take longer routes and return by free bus (with bicycle trailer).
The three major cities of Hamburg, as well as Bremen and Hanover, are about 1 hour away from the house
The finest half-timbered houses including a castle and a beautiful old town await you in Celle and Lüneburg.
