You can rent one (or both) of the wooden holiday houses newly built this year. Both houses are equipped with bathroom and kitchen. You can sleep on the sleeping loft with 2 mattresses, each 2 metres by 1.60 metres, or on the corner couch in the living area, which can sleep 2 people. A maximum of 4 people can live in each of the two houses. Both houses are air-conditioned.

Location and surroundings of object
Hohnstein is the castle town on the rock in the core area of Saxon Switzerland. It is the ideal starting point for hikers and mountaineers to get to know the mountains and rocks in the Saxon Switzerland National Park.
From the accommodation you can walk directly into the National Park. In the immediate vicinity there are already rocks of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains such as the Brand, the Wolfsschlucht, the Hockstein, ..
In Hohnstein there is an outdoor swimming pool within walking distance for hot days (if the pool on the property is not enough). In the evening, restaurants (in an idyllic location) nearby invite you to linger. Events take place in the puppet theatre of the Hohnsteiner Kasper and in the castle. The castle café is also located in the castle. We will be happy to inform you about seasonal events.

| The town of Hohnstein requires in its tourist tax statutes of 26.09.2001 in § 6 "Commercial and private landlords of places of accommodation have to pay a tourist tax of 0.25 Euro per overnight stay and person. No tourism tax is levied on children up to the age of 14." and in its statutes on the levying of a guest tax of 01.04.2022 in §§ 4 and 5: "2.50 € per person and day of stay...., reduced by 1.00 € for children 8 to 18 years of age; pupils, trainees and students from 17 to 27 years of age" The statutes can be read at: https://www.hohnstein.de/satzungen/ ... under the item Tourism Taxes This means that additional costs to the rental price have to be paid and will be collected for the city of Hohnstein and settled by the landlord for adults: 2,75 €/day for children up to 8 to 14 years: 1,50 €/day for children 15 years to 18 years: 1,75 €/day; for pupils, apprentices and students up to max. 27 years: 1,75 €/day You will receive a guest card from the landlord. Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.
