Wonderful house in an excellent location
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in the house - the equipment of kitchen, furniture in general, terrace/balcony, pool is beyond any doubt. Even the easy-to-use Weber grill was available! The really picturesque village itself offers the necessary local amenities (small supermarket, bakery, kiosk, 2 restaurants/bars on the beautiful village square), as well as a kind of lido with access to the Gorges de l'Herault including kayak rental. Nearby Gignac is a bit more urban and also offers a large supermarket along with the usual expected infrastructure. We did not venture into the popular neighbouring village of St.Guilhem le Desert (really completely overrun), as it was simply too crowded and inappropriate in the current COVID situation. The beaches can be reached in less than 1h, we went 3-4 times south of Montpellier, around Valras-Plage - it was not too crowded there and you always found great restaurants in the beach towns. All in all, it was a really great 2 weeks under the special COVID conditions, we really came home very refreshed! We still miss having breakfast on the terrace and jumping into the pool every day. We would also like to mention the always helpful landlord - thank you very much! Clear recommendation :)

A beautiful house
We spent a wonderful summer week in this holiday home. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. You can tell that a family has really lived in the house. There is love in every detail. The view from the terrace is a dream and the river with many bathing spots is very close by. The charming village center has two bakeries and two small bistros. Once a week, there is a farmer's market on the market square where you can have a very nice dinner. France at its most beautiful.

Good day, I have this house with a lot of commitment and actually as a center of life for the family renovated (see photo :-)). But things work out the way you expect and why we moved six years ago to Hamburg. We regularly spend holidays in our house, but are of the opinion that houses must be occupied and therefore put it as a holiday home available, hoping that other house so appreciated as we know and just as comfortable. I got to know the area while studying and fell in love with it. St. Jean de Fos is really one of the most nice villages in the region, still relatively primitive and, relatively unscathed by the modern Lotissement, disfigure the common French villages. And the scenery is partially stunning. If small things get broken, which is not a drama, the most I can itself fix. Therefore I require no deposit.
