We invite you to the peace and quiet of nature. Come to Björk holiday home. The good supply of food and accessibility make the accommodation ideal for young families and seniors. You park your car directly in front of the house with access from the outside to the storage room ( bicycles and the like). Here you can store your equipment, clothes but also bicycles dry.
Our village is surrounded by vast forests with many lakes, small gorges and hills.
Here you have the opportunity to start kilometre-long hikes, ski tours, bike tours, motorbike trips directly from the house, together with your loved ones or alone, depending on the weather and your condition. There are very different excursion destinations and also lively attractions within a radius of 70 km. Winding smaller roads and gravel paths in extensive forests make a motorbike holiday unforgettable for every level.
For those who prefer the sun by the sea, the Baltic Sea beach is about 40 minutes away. Attractions such as a climbing park, small petting zoo, elk park or Pippi Longstocking Park can be reached by car within an hour. If you want to stay in the village with small children, you will still find enough variety at three lakes, a stream, hiking trails, illuminated forest paths and several playgrounds. In winter, exercise is also possible on the small toboggan run.
In cold seasons you can heat in three ways, centrally heated with electricity or wood pellets as well as with the fireplace in the living room. The house is communally connected to the water and sewage supply. Hot water for the shower and kitchen is provided by a large hot water boiler. The total living space is about 80 sqm. The lower level in the basement at ground level houses the laundry room with washing machine, another room with 2 big beds offers 3 sleeping places.
On the upper level, which is accessible from outside and inside, are the main rooms, living room, bedroom with balcony, kitchen, dining and play room, WC, shower, vestibule. The kitchen is large enough for meals in. A shower and washbasin, separate from the toilet make mornings stress-free. In the garden you can have breakfast with the whole family in the sun during the warm seasons while the children find enough space for fun, play and sunbathing. For the cooler seasons, you will find opportunity and space for table tennis, table football and mini-billiards in the games room.

We invite you to the tranquility of nature. Come to the Björkstigen holiday home (Birkensteig) and experience how easy it is to be left alone. The supply of groceries from a family-run supermarket is within walking distance.
Of course, people also live here who go about their work, without which there would be no places in the midst of the rich nature.

Pure relaxation
The cottage is located in the small village of Fagelfors. Apart from a grocery shop and an inn with special opening hours, there is nothing in the village. A beautiful bathing area at the lake invites you to relax. The holiday home itself is lovingly furnished and lacks nothing. If something is missing, you can contact the landlords, who also live in the village, and the problem will be solved. The only downer was the lack of Wi-Fi. We made do with our room-in rate, which was sufficient. If you love peace and quiet, this is the place to come down from stressful everyday life and if you want to experience something, there are many excursion options within a radius of about 1 hour. We had an all-round relaxing holiday and have certainly not been to Sweden the last time.
