Description
The villa, built in 2020, is very well equipped.
The ground floor is open plan in loft style and very inviting
The cosy furniture in the living area and a home cinema system add to the comfort
The large patio doors make the entire room bright and flooded with light. As there is underfloor heating throughout the house, it is very pleasant indoors even in harsh weather
Opposite the living room is the large, open kitchen with counters and a cooking island. The kitchen is also equipped for demanding hobby cooks with a Bauknecht induction cooker and built-in oven. High-quality kitchen appliances invite you to prepare even more extensive menus.
The utility room is adjacent to the kitchen. Here you will find everything you need to get your holiday laundry fresh again, including a washing machine and dryer. There are two bathrooms in the house, one for each bedroom. One bathroom to the left of the hallway with double washbasin, open shower at ground level and towel dryer. A bathroom on the right with bathtub and double washbasin.
The two bedrooms are also located to the left and right of the hallway and are furnished to a high standard. Great importance was attached to back-friendly mattresses
Bedroom I is equipped with a box-spring bed and a spacious wardrobe. In bedroom II you will also find a white secretary as a separate writing and working area, as well as the second TV.
There is also a reading and play corner in the living room. This is the ideal place to retreat to if you want to read or enjoy music in peace or watch another programme.
Or the little ones want to try out all the toys available.
Internet is available via WLAN
In addition, the house has permanent ventilation and is suitable for allergy sufferers thanks to filters.
Environmental aspects were also consciously taken into account. The controlled ventilation system uses heat recovery
The electricity is drawn entirely from renewable energy sources. A photovoltaic system supplies a large part of the electricity required by the house. And the heating, as well as the hot water, is generated with an air-heat pump
Thus, your ecological footprint of the holiday in this house is close to zero!
The garden is over 800 m² in size. Four terraces invite you to have your morning breakfast outside or to chill out or to sunbathe or offer shade if needed
For all barbecue lovers there is a grill.
A future-oriented 11 kW charging station for electric cars (plug type 2) is already available for all electric car drivers
At your leisure and during your holiday, you can of course quickly fill up your electric vehicle with green electricity from renewable energy sources!

Location and surroundings of object
The villa is located in the quiet west of Rügen directly on the Rassower Strom near Hiddensee. Pure nature. The quiet surroundings invite you to go hiking, jogging, cycling, boating, fishing or simply to relax
You can enjoy uniquely beautiful views from the cycling and hiking path towards Hiddensee directly along the Rassower Strom. You can also make wonderful cycling tours on the nearby Wittow peninsula
Just take the Wittow ferry and cycle for kilometres through a unique natural landscape - if you are willing and able - to Cape Arkona, the northernmost point of the island, with its two lighthouses.
You can swim in Schaprode on the Bodden (about 10 km away), which is warmer and shallower than the Baltic beaches.
Probably the most beautiful beach on Rügen, the "Schaabe", can be found after crossing with the Wittow ferry, a kilometre away at Juliusruh. The journey there compensates for this with a very fine sandy beach over 14 kilometres long, stretching from Kap Arkona to Glowe
A kite and surf school with e-bike rental is located about 20 m from the holiday home. There is a boat rental at the Wittower ferry (1 km). If you come with your own boat, you can launch it nearby
If you like cycling, you can rent bikes from a bike rental and have them delivered.
The "Kunstscheune Vaschvitz" is only 50 m away. Cultural events take place here regularly.
When it is completed in 2021, the hotel "Lindner Spa" with a nice bar and restaurant will be located opposite our holiday home. A swimming pool and Finnish sauna are also available in the hotel and can be used by our guests for a fee. Here you can also get the latest daily newspapers and fresh breakfast rolls on order.
In Trent (5 km) there is a nice restaurant "Fähreck" with an ice cream parlour.
There is also a dentist and physiotherapy here.
In Schaprode (5 km by bike or 10 km by car) there are other nice restaurants. The "Schilling" at the harbour is recommended. The ferries to and from Hiddensee also depart from here. You should definitely visit this car-free island on a day trip.

Another attraction on the island of Rügen can be found on one of the largest open-air stages in Europe in Ralswiek, 25 km away - the Störtebeker Festival in summer. With 150 performers, horses, ships and many stunts. Klaus Störtebeker was the notorious German pirate and wreaked havoc in the days of the Hanseatic League.
If you want to explore Rügen, you can go to the chalk cliffs, for example, or go on a treasure hunt with an "amber fisherman", or visit the old harbour town of Sassnitz. The big ferries to Trelleborg (Sweden) or Rönne (Denmark) also leave from there
Or you can visit Cape Arkona, the northernmost point of the island and eastern Germany, with its lighthouses from which you have a great view over the landscape. You should definitely visit Cape Arkona. Besides small shops and restaurants or the Rügenhof, an organic farm with a focus on sea buckthorn, but also home to various artisans
Also worth seeing is "Woody`s Little Britain" in Putgarten. A little piece of Great Britain on the island of Rügen.
A visit to the Free and Hanseatic City of Stralsund is also recommended for a day trip
Whether it's a visit to the huge Ozeaneum or the Maritime Museum, or a stroll through the historic old town. Stralsund is always worth a visit. It's best to park in the multi-storey car park next to the Ozeaneum, as it's best to walk around Stralsund. Especially in bad weather, because the city is bursting at the seams.
