Welcome to our Ostfriesenhaus in Neßmersiel. We are pleased to invite you to a short virtual tour.
Our house was awarded 4 stars when it was certified back in 2000 and it has been steadily improved.
In the following sections we would like to introduce you to the amenities of our East Frisian house.
The care of our house has been taken over by friends for whom it is very important that our guests feel very comfortable and perhaps even become regular guests.
You will be personally welcomed and instructed in all matters.
Our on-site support is always there for you!
No matter whether you want to know something about wading or about East Frisian customs.
We want satisfied guests and look forward to you coming back! We wish you a pleasant and relaxing stay

A small note on our own behalf:
Unfortunately, smoking is not allowed in our Ostfriesenhaus.
However, we have a beautiful covered terrace!
Make yourself at home.
Our house is a house to feel good in. It is a place for rest and relaxation.
That is why we have furnished our house very personally and with above-average quality.
It will therefore preferably appeal to families and people who succumb to charm, comfort and cosiness.
Our Ostfriesenhaus offers you all the comforts you would expect from a house of our class. For example, you will find 2 x satellite TV, (below with HD) DVD-player
The kitchen
In our 2018 newly furnished kitchen you will find an electric cooker with oven and ceramic hob ,extractor bonnet, a microwave,
Refrigerator, dishwasher and all the important small electrical appliances such as a toaster, sandwitch toaster, blender, etc.
So you are welcome to try out your own cooking skills with the available cookbooks (also with East Frisian national dishes).
You are welcome to use anything you find.
The master bedroom
Sleep like a marmot. The wonderful sea air will make sure of that. Sleep in good (not worn-out) beds on brand-name mattresses and with sufficient space. So that you wake up refreshed and relaxed in the morning!
For bathing beauties and mermen
Everything is OK in the bathroom and WC!
The bathroom was completely renovated in March 2016. It offers you a large barrier-free shower with underfloor heating that also runs throughout the bathroom, new toilet facilities, large washbasin and much more.
You will find a second bathroom with shower in the attic by the children's rooms.
On the upper floor
On the upper floor there is a large room with 1 double bed, wardrobe and TV.
In addition, there is a small, cosy room with a bed and wardrobe on the upper floor.
The terrace
With cake and tea, it's all up stee!
On our spacious terrace you can relax from the many cycling tours, mudflat walks, beach activities, etc. It is covered so that you can enjoy the sun.
It is covered, so that even on cooler evenings you can enjoy the North Sea air here for a long time with a glass of wine.
Enjoy the summer and let yourself be pampered.
For sun worshippers
The large garden is for the most part dense, highly overgrown and completely fenced in, so that you can relax free from disturbing glances. Neßmersiel, a small, quiet and tranquil coastal seaside resort with good gastronomy and a sandy beach where you can enjoy the sun and the wind in a beach chair. Ideal for families with children and dogs. But senior citizens also get their money's worth here. Enjoy peace and relaxation. Take long walks, sunbathe in a beach chair. Explore the surroundings by bike or take the ferry to one of the East Frisian islands. The long car-free dyke roads invite you to go hiking, cycling and inline skating. Let the evening come to an end on our cosy, covered terrace with a shared games evening or a nice glass of wine. Of course, there is also a large brick barbecue fireplace! New is the family leisure centre 'Sturmfrei' with a large wellness and indoor offer! Good shopping facilities on site (Edeka market with bakery).

Hello,my husband and I both come from the North Sea and therefore also use our house ourselves. Therefore, our house is furnished more like a cosy home. You are allowed to use everything. The main thing is that you feel comfortable. Our house is looked after by our friends Gerda & Gerd. So you will have the pleasure of being looked after by 2 loving East Frisians. We wish you a relaxing and pleasant stay.
