Kolkwitz is 5 km from Cottbus, this region belongs to the Spreewald, the Gurkenradwanderweg leads along here. The house is located a few metres from the forest area and the Hirschteich pond, quiet location, approx. 1 km from the centre of the village and the shopping centre, bus and train station from the centre of the village. Excursion destinations such as Branitzer Park, Spreewald, Koselmühle, bathing lakes, etc. are within easy reach. The Polish border is approx. 30 km away.
