The holiday home has a total capacity of 9 persons and consists of flat upstairs for max 4 persons, flat downstairs for max 2 persons and an attic studio for max 3 persons.
Flat upstairs has a total area of approx. 90 sqm
It has a large covered balcony of 17m length. The flat upstairs consists of kitchen, bathroom, toilet, 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room and hallway. For another 3 persons there is a 65 sqm attic studio with a fireplace.
The flat downstairs has a total area of approx. 60 sqm. It has a large terrace directly in front of the flat on the south-west side, partly covered. The flat downstairs consists of a kitchen-dining room, bathroom, hallway, bedroom and living room.
Large garden with fruit trees, sunbathing lawn and natural pond with its own spring.

Location and surroundings of object
The property is located not far (5 minutes by car) from the game reserve and tree top walk of the Bavarian National Park
Situated on the edge of a beautiful forest clearing, the house offers tranquillity and unadulterated enjoyment of nature. The large property, garden, meadow and forest, guarantees a pleasant privacy. A 6m x 6m covered pavilion with garden barbecue invites you to a rustic barbeque. The pond in the garden is home to all kinds of amphipians. The beautiful 18-hole golf course in Neuschönau is also only 5 minutes away by car.
Cross-country skiing trails are in the immediate vicinity and hiking trails start right at the house
Hohenau is situated at the foot of the Lusen (1373m) at an altitude of approx. 800m on the edge of the Bavarian Forest National Park.
Hohenau is a member of the Natinalparkgemeindeverband.
In spring, summer and autumn, the "Bavarian National Park" with its unspoilt nature experience invites you to go on long hikes
The Czech "Sumava" National Park borders directly on the National Park and thus offers visitors, together with the Bavarian National Park, the largest national park area in Central Europe.
A visit to the Moldau reservoir on the Czech side of the national park is worthwhile
(approx. 40 minutes by car)
Even moose visit the area from time to time.
Good local restaurants with Bavarian specialities can be found in the vicinity.
In winter, you can go cross-country skiing on the trails in the vicinity or simply go skiing on uncleared forest paths.
For walkers, there are numerous cleared hiking trails in the nearby national park.

We bought this house 13 years ago and completely rebuilt and restored it as a holiday home. We would like to appeal to guests who value a house in a beautiful, quiet location with comfort. The house was lovingly furnished and equipped in country house style. We look forward to welcoming our guests in the beautiful Bavarian Forest.
