Beautiful and cosy, black-painted panoramic holiday home on the Danish North Sea island of Rømø - with a direct view of the Wadden Sea, which is only about 200 m away. The holiday home is 76 m2 and contains a bathroom with toilet, shower, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are two rooms for two people each - one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The beautifully furnished living room with a view of the heather-covered property (1750m2), the beautiful beach meadows and the internationally protected Wadden Sea (UNESCO World Heritage) also has a lovely alcove to relax on. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. There is a sunny terrace, but you can also find shade there. The holiday home is bright and Nordic furnished. The holiday home also has a heat pump.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located near Havneby. It is a five-minute walk to the bakery and grocer and two kilometres to Sönderstrand. On the North Sea island of Römö, which is especially known for Scandinavia's widest sandy beach, you will find a very child-friendly beach - Lakolk, an unspoilt nature that invites you to many different activities. The North Sea beach, which stretches for many kilometres along the entire west coast of Rømø, offers plenty of space for ball games as well as beach volleyball. You can kitesurf, windsurf and much more
Last but not least, kite flying is very popular on Rømø's incredibly wide beach, partly because a kite festival is held once a year in September. Here, numerous artistically decorated kites rise into the air and beautify the blue sky above the island. Of course, the constant wind contributes to the fact that kite flying is particularly popular on Rømø. So pack the kite for the kids, or investigate whether the island's nature centre offers kite-making courses for children during your stay. It's a special treat for the little ones to see their homemade kites fly. If the weather is not suitable, there are also many opportunities for indoor activities. Visit the Skærbæk Fritidscenter, for example, where you can visit a water park. On Rømø you can visit exciting boutiques, cosy restaurants and cafés as well as interesting museums that you should not miss
Tønder or Ribe are also beautiful towns that are suitable for an excursion in bad weather. Tønder and Ribe are among the oldest towns in Denmark and accordingly offer exciting experiences. In Ribe you will find a beautiful old cathedral, a pedestrian zone with lots of old half-timbered houses and the Ribe Vikingecenter with an old Viking trading post and many interesting exhibits. You can also visit Esbjerg, the nearest larger town, where you can do some real shopping. From here you can also take the ferry to Fanø, another beautiful holiday island. The ferry goes there and back all day, and you can have a great trip and see the special culture of this island. A trip to Sylt is also possible from Rømø by ferry, and here you can have a leisurely fish dinner at Gosch, Germany's northernmost fish stall, or take a bus or bicycle tour of the island.

Dream house with a stunning panoramic view on a beautiful property.
The Liljehuset is a beautiful, bright, open, and spacious house, yet it is also very cozy. We - my daughter and grandchildren - felt very comfortable there, especially in the cozy alcove. The unobstructed panoramic view of the Wadden Sea is magnificent and the natural property is beautiful, and one is completely secluded and not overlooked by other houses. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need. The landlords are very friendly and were always easily reachable by phone. Everything worked out perfectly. We can imagine coming back soon. We highly recommend the house and have already told friends about it.

Top landlord and top house
It is a super beautiful, very well-kept and cozy house, the only thing we missed was a microwave and a large pot. Everything is sufficiently available, top condition. The landlords are very nice and accommodating, always reachable and very eager to prepare the stay for their guests as best as possible. We are always happy to have contact with them.

We are the Jessen family and had the holiday home built in 2006. Our family have lived on the island for several generations, but we have our home not there, but nearby We spent years holidaying with the family on the island as children and teenagers, so we wanted to have our own holiday home in our adult lives too. Our three children now also spend their holidays there with the grandchildren.
