There are various different types of detached, sustainably built bungalows. There are two different types of detached 6-person bungalows.
The NL-3249-16 is a spacious bungalow with three bedrooms, two of which have a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds, which may be set up as a double bed. There are two bathrooms, one ensuite, both with a shower and one with a toilet. There is also a separate toilet.
There is also a variant with a first floor (NL-3249-17). This type of bungalow has an open kitchen with cooking island. There are also two bedrooms on the ground floor, each with two single beds (which may or may not be set up as a double bed), and a bathroom with shower. In the hallway you'll find a separate toilet. Upstairs is a sleeping loft (height 1.25 m.) with two single beds.
Both bungalows are modern and comfortably furnished and have a living room with smart TV and decorative fireplace. There is an open kitchen with a combination microwave and dishwasher. A storage room with washing machine and dryer complete the picture. There is a garden, which you reach through a glass sliding door from the living room, with a terrace and garden furniture. You look out over the nature reserve. You have a charging point for electric bicycles and there are two parking spaces at the bungalow.

Holiday park Zeedijk is still under development and is located between two nature reserves; the vast Slikken van Flakkee and the small-scale Oude Dee. It's located in the province of South Holland, at the border with Zeeland. The Grevelingenmeer is a stone's throw away and the centre of of Herkingen 3 km.
Holiday park Zeedijk is characterised by peace, space and nature. The location between two nature reserves offers a large range of special plants and animals. You could see the bald eagle here and a group of 100 seals has made its home in the Grevelingenmeer. During the winter, it also is the residence of a group of flamingos. The park itself offers a reception, playground equipment and bike rental. As a guest of Holiday park Zeedijk, you'll have free access to swimming pool 't Zuiderdiep in Stellendam (13 km).
There are more than enough possibilities for day trips in the area, both for young and old; for the entire family. A few tips: Local museum Goeree Overflakkee in Sommelsdijk (10 km), Deltapark Neeltje Jans in Vrouwenpolder (49 km), Aquavitesse, where you can rent paddleboards and canoes, in Bruinisse (22 km), Diergaarde Blijdorp in Rotterdam (59 km) and the climbing forest in Westerschouwen (45 km). And of course there also are nice (historical) cities like Rotterdam, Brielle (33 km), Delft (71 km), Breda (72 km), Middelburg (76 km) or The Hague (78 km), all with their own atmosphere, but all with a pleasant city centre. This is a great place to have a drink or a bite to eat or to go shopping. Several seaside resorts can also be reached easily and the Grevelingenmeer, a wonderful area for recreation, is around the corner. If you like cycling, the cycling network app is recommended. You can enjoy beautiful cycling and walking tours in this wonderful nature reserve.
Holiday park Zeepark is a new park and is still under development. At the moment, we're still working in several areas of the park. This can lead to some inconvenience. Everything is being done to try and limit the inconvenience as much as possible. The sustainable bungalow you're staying in, is of course ready and fully equipped.

Quiet area, good for slowing down

The cottage was in a good and quiet location.

Waste separation should be improved. The containers are not clearly labeled.

The house is very nice. Well equipped but suitable for max. 4 people. There is no space especially for cloakrooms. The third small bedroom is used for this. The undulating flooring in the hallway and living area is uncomfortable. It would have been nice if the house had been slightly heated when we took over. we moved into a completely cooled down house.

Beautiful park, experienced a lot of peace and a lovely place. We really enjoyed. The only point is in every bedroom there is a window / door that you can open from the inside and therefore you are outside. This one can't be locked, our daughter noticed that pretty quickly so she was suddenly outside!

The cottage is very neat and complete. The park is also neat. The disadvantage is that there is really nothing to do in the park (we knew this in advance). The area is also quite deserted, to experience something you almost always have to drive fifteen minutes.

Great park and house. Peaceful environment. More than enough facilities in the holiday home. Beautiful location, large windows with a view (partly on other houses) and well-equipped kitchen. Points for improvement are the relatively hard beds, lack of power outlets and grass around the house. Grass had recently been sown, making it mainly a sandy plain. Internet was very slow, which negates the possibilities of a laptop or the available smart TV.

Beautiful park, beautiful house, beautiful nature in the backyard. Lots of noise from other guests with music playing outside. The sustainable and natural character is currently limited to the design of the houses and the location of the park. As far as we are concerned, there is still profit to be made.

great location, great property. Was close enough to Rotterdam for the days we needed to be there, and lots of lovely pleasant places around to visit. Property was great fro 4 of us- with 2 showers, 2 toilets 3 bedrooms and a good size kitchen/ lounge/ diner area, and a pleasant garden area that we enjoyed on a couple of evenings. We heard other guests around us, but it was lovely and peaceful. The park itself was very nice, safe for the children to explore.
