This cozy holiday home on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee in South Holland is very close to the Greveligenmeer. It is suitable for up to 6 people and has been furnished with great care by the owners. Only a stone's throw away is the dike of Herkingen, where there is also a small beach. You can also relax in the heated hot tub in the beautifully furnished garden.
Herkingen has two marinas where sailors can find a berth and water sports enthusiasts can get their money's worth. The place offers various restaurants, pizzeria and cafes. All major beaches can be reached quickly. Here you can make wonderful bike rides and walks, visit one of the beautiful places in the area or the nearby fauna park.
The house, which can be heated all year round, is modern and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and, in addition to a dishwasher, also has numerous kitchen utensils. You will sleep particularly well on the luxurious box spring beds. Two satellite TVs with HDMI for your personal devices are also available. Dog lovers will feel comfortable because of the completely fenced garden, and the house also offers a washing area for your dog in the garden. However, only a maximum of 2 small to medium-sized dogs with a maximum weight of 20 kg are allowed in this holiday home.
There is a parking space for you directly at the house (can also be used with a trailer). You can park a second car in the nearby visitor car park.

Just perfect! We have stayed in many a holiday house and holiday park. We have never had such a completely and lovingly furnished house. It really is everything you need. The landlord has asked me if there is anything missing in the house. Unfortunately, nothing came to mind. And you definitely need to use the hot tub.

Well received by the friendly owners. Cottage is very nicely decorated and very complete although we ourselves, for example, had herbs and towels, these were present. Fully equipped kitchen with large combi fridge-freezer and dishwasher. Cleanliness is the whole house is also thick 10! Hot tub is a nice extra! Steep open stairs to the top floor do. Due to bad weather we could not do much outside and then 6 people and a dog are a bit busy in the house ... however, if you can sit outside, eat etc. this is the perfect house. Udo Barbara thanks! -)

There is not much to do in the neighborhood. The cottage is nicely refurbished and small. The garden is neat and the hot tub is nice. Nice and nice owners. Very clean and fully equipped kitchen. Towels, tea towels in stock. Stairs upstairs is style and toilet is downstairs. Screened garden and doggiewash is ideal for dogs.

We were welcomed very friendly. There were already drinks in the fridge and there was also a treat for our dog.The house was shown to us in great detail and we were trained in the technical things like heating, stove etc. The house is fully furnished, nothing is missing, in the kitchen, there are all the necessary utensils, such as pans, pans, spices, flour breadcrumbs, egg cooker, coffee maker, etc. There is a very detailed information folder, with all the information, including for trips and restaurants The environment is very dog-friendly, The garden is completely fenced, so that the dog can run free.The North Sea and a beach are just 100m away and only separated by the dike.The shopping in Herkingen are also very good.

We had a super nice relaxing week in Herkingen, already the arrival was fantastic, the owners personally welcome full of warmth and explain everything in and around the beautiful house. This FH is fully equipped, I would give it 5 *****, it is very clean and comfortably furnished. In addition to all household appliances you will also find spices, oils, sugar and and and, we were thrilled, the photos speak for themselves -) The beautiful modern garden with hot tub and lighting completes everything. The evening in the hot tub at 8 degrees outside temperature and just under 40 degrees Water temperature was an absolute highlight, we would not have expected, pure relaxation. The environment is quiet, natural and clean, to relax just wonderful. Shops in the village for food available, you get everything you need for your daily needs. In about 20-30 minutes, the open North Sea coast (Renesse and Ouddorp for example) is easily accessible, we had wonderful sunshine on the beach at the end of September can enjoy. Dogs run almost all free, everything was very uncomplicated, nice and clean as we are used to from Holland. Recommendation Pannekoekenmolen DeGraanhalm, very nice to eat no matter if sweet or hearty, small shop with nice things also from the mill integrated, prices ok, could Still sitting in the garden, that was very nice and relaxed with dog. For shopping also good Middelharnis.Ansonsten simply arrive and feel good - as we did. Recommendation 100% Thank you for a nice week in Holland.

On arrival Udo and Barbara were there to receive us. We felt very welcome and there was a fresh bowl of water and sweets for the dogs. The apartment was clean and everything has been thought, a very extensive luxury kitchen, a nice bathroom and the Doggy Wash outside was a pleasant surprise. The park is nice and quiet and everyone is equally friendly. The beach is over the dike and you are there. In Herkingen itself it may be too quiet but it is central and you are in Zierikzee or Middelharnis to find the crowds.We and the dogs have had a wonderful holiday and will definitely come back.Kleine tip which outside the apartment and park is, if you're looking for a snack, turn brasserie de Bolbaken, all you can eat please, never experienced anything like this, as bad as there we have never eaten before ... Udo and Barbara, cordial thanks, we have had a top holiday.

A very friendly reception. Nothing was missing - a welcome gift rounded off the reception. The house is extremely comfortable furnished - it was recently renovated - a beautiful domiziel. Dogs are very welcome and even have their own bathtub. Just like the master - a HotTub staht ready to use is easy and really fun. The kitchen is also fully equipped - even different spices and oils are bereit.Die environment offers various possibilities of activity. We were rather inactive - and this is also wonderful.

The landlords Barbera and Udo have put a lot of effort into the recently renovated cottage. The cottage is very nice decorated, clean and cozy and has many amenities such as a hot tub, dishwasher, washing machine and even a dog washing area and watering can in the garden. Perfect garden with good closed fence, our dogs Zoey and Maya had a lot of fun rolling around on the grass ....... Reception with good explanation and a nice bottle of wine on the table.The area is quiet, invites you to go hiking or cycling along beaches and dikes. A small beach is within walking distance just over the dike, for good restaurants you have to go a little further afield, close to supermarket within walking distance. You can walk away in the dunes of Ouddorp, in the off season also on the beach . Shortly, highly recommended!

All in all our stay was good. The accommodation is also clean and has everything you need. However, the accommodation looks VERY large in the pictures - but it is not. Really not. There were four of us and we had a problem sitting together in the evening. It's ok for a few days but unfortunately I wouldn't book this accommodation for a longer period of time.

It is a very neat house, with all amenities. Very friendly owner. The park is also neat. You are right on a large lake, otherwise it is a small effort to drive to the beach. Our children were very pleased with the hot tube in the garden.

Had a wonderful weekend. Nice quiet village with a small beach. You can take a great walk. In the garden of the house you can sit in the sun. The hot tub was perfect, it had fresh water on arrival and we got a good instruction on how to use it. Beautiful kitchen and bathroom fully equipped: cotton buds and cotton balls in the bathroom, all utensils you can think of in the kitchen. The beds were good with nice blankets and pillows. An ideal house in good weather!

Very much enjoyed this holiday home, everything you need is available, everything has been thought of in terms of cooking utensils so you don't have to bring anything yourself. The garden is completely fenced, so perfect for children or animals, the hot tub in the garden is also a great added value. Herkingen itself is a quiet village, if you go for peace and quiet you are certainly in the right place. Directly on the dike with a small beach, there is also a nice marina. On the other side of the domain you also have a nice nature reserve, so something for everyone. The owners are also very friendly people that you cannot ask for wrong.

Beautiful modern house really everything is there. Towels and beds made on arrival. Lovely enclosed garden, nice for the dog and small children. We were the weekend with 6 adults and a dog. It is cramped in bad weather. The downstairs bedroom with 2 single beds is very small. Upstairs 2 rooms with double bed wonderfully spacious. Nice bathroom. The rest of the week we were 3 adults that went fine. Quiet area, there is nothing else in the park. You can walk right onto the beach. The park is mostly inhabited by Germans. Middelharnis is recommended for shops and terraces. We had a nice stay!

Friendly reception. The owners even had kluifjes ready for our 2 dogs, then you score extra points with us. Cottage is nice, clean and fully equipped. Beautiful fenced garden and the hot tub is a must. In the park and in the town of Herkingen it is wonderfully quiet. Within walking distance a supermarket, the harbor and a small beach. We enjoyed and on departure received a nice souvenir from the owners Udo and Barbara. We will definitely come back.

This lovingly furnished holiday home left nothing to be desired. Thanks to the bedroom on the ground floor, my handicapped father was able to completely use the house without any restrictions, and our dog was taken care of as well. Everything was very well maintained and clean. The environment was also great. For people who want to enjoy the tranquility, this place is perfect. No fifty meters away is a stretch of beach where dogs are welcome. Also for dog bags enough trash cans are available. After about five minutes walk you reach the place Herkingen, which also radiates tranquility. You can enjoy the gastronomy in the village, as well as at the marina or in the supermarket everything for the planned meals in the house shopping. We were very satisfied and will gladly come again!
