An outstanding stay in the mountains. Fantastic owners and great accommodation all in all.

We had a very nice stay!

The village was easy to find with the navigation. The location itself was easy to find with the help of a local resident who knew exactly where it was. The accommodation was beautiful. Tidied up in style. Beds were nice. Kitchen was well furnished. The owner was incredibly friendly. She really made the effort to understand us with our three words of Italian. Really really nice! Swimming pool was nice. Certainly because you only share this with the people from the second apartment. The area is beautiful. The view from the balcony is calming, with the fog between the mountains on a number of days. A few hiking trails run from the village. (We tried, but in July this was a little too hot for us and our girls aged 8 and 10) In the neighboring village, within walking distance, was a nice pizzeria where mostly Italians were. To view other, larger cities, you have to drive a bit. Lucca, Pisa are an hour and a half away. There is a nice cave to visit in Equi Termi at a 20-minute drive.

The arrival was easy, albeit very picturesque due to increasingly narrow streets. The landlords were not overlooked, since they live in the first house when entering the village. a very warm welcome !!! The village itself is picturesque, and the apartment is a complex of two houses, which are rightly referred to by the roommate as the small castle. We had the smaller apartment, the neighbors the larger. Mutually we have had no disturbances. But since the neighbors were so warm nice, the use of the shared and spacious and very well maintained pool was more of a pleasure. The surroundings are picturesque, the hilly landscape invites you to go hiking. A train station within walking distance links the very small town hourly to Lucca, Pisa and La Spezia / Genoa. Hiking trails are well signposted and maintained. Lucca is 1h away by train. Florence scarcely 3h, here it is worthwhile perhaps to plan an overnight stay (was an overwhelming experience). The landlords have one evening in a separate bakery a pizza evening for us aligned, which has led to a very warm, and really friendly contact. We really would like to see the two again.

Superb location, with this charming house, both modern and authentic (House of XVII) The panorama of the terrace is sublime with its view of the mountains. We thank Roberta and Paulo a lot for the welcome and the evening spent with them in front of a homemade pizza, we look forward to seeing you again during your next stay.

Beautiful house in a breathtaking setting, t denotes balcony amidst the mountains .... Very complete house with very romantic bedroom, nice bathroom and very nice large kitchen. On arrival there were a bottle of wine and other food ready, very thoughtful! Nice pool, not only was there with us again not to zwemmen.Doordat you amidst the mountains is it is also very quiet and secluded .. Continue ...., super nice!

We have chosen this house at first because it was roughly in between PISA (our arrival place, car rental) and GENOA and the "Cinque Terre" is easily accessible. From the A15 (Aulla) highway is still a bit on winding roads to the Castello.De location of the cottage is beautiful and is located between two (regional / national) nature reserves. From the parking lot under the church is still about 50m walk on a concrete walkway collapsed. From the balcony of the house you have a fantastic view of the valley and the mountains left to the right. There is also a railway bridge over the valley, and the rails again plunge into a tunnel. The station is within walking distance so you can easily make out from the train (eg at Aqui Terme (natural hot springs) or the other way, check it first as the timetable). There is also a pool next to the house where use of it may worden.De decor is quaint and cozy and spacious but a bit austere, no TV / radio, or an electric oven in keuken.De caretaker of the house lives in the same village, so it's easy to contact. She did not speak English that well, but we are all true. No hassle with money or deposit, we did not have to do any additional payments and we could key g

Language is difficult, next time learning some Italian. But the landlord did her best and was very cordial. If you like peace, little tourism and authenticity, you are here very well. The last house in the street, car is a bit further because you can not get to the house by car. We were lucky that the cottage next to us was not rented. As a result extra large terrace / balcony and the swimming pool for us alone. Very private location, wonderful in our own world. We felt our castle sir / vrouwe, it was beautiful and definitely recommended! Keep in mind that the roads as soon as you leave the tolls / main roads are very challenging. We have also been to the coast to Cinque Terre but that you will soon be 1.5 hours on the road. In terms of mileage this is not too bad but you are on the road for a long time.

We could find the accommodation immediately but did not recognize it, so we were still looking for something, after a phone call with the owner it became clear. The accommodation is beautiful, spacious and well equipped with the necessary things and a beautiful view. The landlady is very welcoming, helpful, friendly and speaks reasonable English.
