A hidden gem in the historic Montefeltro area in the lap of nature. The landscape has inspired famous Renaissance-era painters such as Leonardo da Vinci, visit the famous site and be inspired. Located in the border of Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna in the interregional pre-park of the Sasso Simone and Simoncello at the height of 650m in a fresh valley where one sleeps well even during the months of July and August. You can access Tuscany and Romagna conveniently and visit famous art cities, Altopoggio awaits all who seek silence, beauty, good food & wine.
A conservatory is accessible for you to plan a lovely time outdoors. You can park under the trees on left coming from the hill. The owner lives next door allowing you to ask for any help/suggestions on what to explore.

We enjoyed our stay at Alto Poggio very much. The view from the house is amazing. The area is very peaceful and cozy. Our landlady Virpi was very helpfull and arranged lots of attractions for us. Everything about the neighborhood was Explained in a nice booklet we got from them. The house is new and very clean. Sitting on the porch in the evening was such a relaxing pleasure. We trully recommend renting the house. Especially if you want to meet real Italians and taste-which is authentic italian food. The place was so much nicer than Tuscany in our opinion and people very friendly. It is a place for people who want to run away from crowds and enjoy nature.

The apartments are clean but the area is too quiet for young couples like us. There are no large supermarkets and we have also been able to find. No normal pool The road to it was also very bad.

So our drive was problematic. But we have to rely only on the route from ADAC and have overlooked the Belvilla would have also had a route for us. But by the auxiliary Prepare local people we were piloted even up to our accommodation. Where we were also eagerly and warmly expected from our housekeeper. The holiday itself was for us the right as we are very tense right through our careers and could relax very well at the resort. The only little negative is the shopping. Larger markets, there are about 20 km away. But that should not be a problem on holiday. For sporty people offer bicycles. Nature lovers will also get their money because it is pure nature. And for culture lovers there is plenty to see museums and stuff. Only the sea, it is a bit cumbersome to Rimini about 50 Km to the good end, we can only recommend the resort We are very relaxed resist arrived in Germany. A fly in the ointment has all but the last 500 meters of our little car did quite difficult, we drive a Toyota IQ. But otherwise everything was great and the manager solitary peak.

Wonderful place to relax and to let off steam with the MTB. The family is very hospitable and we were well looked after and we got a lot of information for the surrounding area. All in all this holiday for us a very good choice.

had a very pleasant vacation we will definitely return. Stunning setting good restaurants within fifteen minutes (by car) from the house. Hostess Virpi has laid out a very extensive script, in which everything what / where to do, is explained. Here you really have the opportunity to unwind. For those who find it difficult without wifi question as to allow placing the wifi repeater.

We were very enthusiastically received by Virpi, the owner who lives next to the property. We did not do any groceries and the nearest supermarket is a half hour drive (Novafeltria), but even there she had already taken into account all the ingredients for a pasta meal and we should use it. Whatever you wanted to know, you could always disturb her and if not available, there was a letter with a phone number. She also speaks excellent English. This address is really great if you come for rest, walking and cycling (mountain bikes are available and can be used for free). In the immediate vicinity there is little or no fun and the roads are bad, but that was not a problem for us. On departure we had to feel goodbye to have good friends.

Had a great holiday at this beautiful residence! Very nice view and a nice place to completely relax. The hostess Virpi is a very helpful woman and knows the best places to eat. We as a younger couple had a good time in the area and at the cottage. Highly recommended!
