This 1-bedroom holiday home rests in Montone, between the sloping hills of northern Tiberdal. In the garden of the holiday home, you have the swimming pool and playground. It is ideal for a small family or group of 4 persons.
Montone is a charming old Italian village. At 1.5 km from the holiday home, you have supermarkets and restaurants for daily needs. If you fancy a pleasant day by the water, you are only 30 km away from Lake Trasimeno. For excursions, the medieval cities of Gubbio and Perugia are about 40 km. Gubbio has numerous palazzi to watch out and Perugia is famous for its art among other things.
You have indoor heating in the holiday home for comfort. Before plunging into the pool you can soak up on the loungers. The private terrace with garden furniture is great to linger outdoors. You will enjoy reading a book or sipping hot coffee in the shared garden. Up to 2 pets are allowed for an additional fee per pet.

We enjoyed our holiday in Umbria very much. The accommodation was great. Beautiful, restored Italian farmhouse in which six apartments have been realized. The apartments are simply furnished. Because of the beautiful weather life is largely outside, we did not experience this as a disadvantage. The tip I would like to give the owner is taking care of some more closet space (in the kitchen) and a shelf here and there (in linen closet and in bathroom) to lose some stuff. In addition, we found it very pleasant that the accommodation provided for weekly clean linens (for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom). The communal garden is well-kept and large enough and the swimming pool is great.What concerns the accessibility of the accommodation. I do not think the accommodation is suitable for people with severe physical disabilities. The cottage is wheelchair accessible and the shower has a seat, but it has also been said. In addition, the field around the farm has many grass and unpaved paths (hard ground, but with stones). In addition, the site is rolling. For active wheelchairs with excellent strength, but for those who are more in need, I think less suitable. Umbrie has a beautiful landscape with many attractive medieval towns (Montone itself, Gubbio, Assisi, Spello, Perugia etc.). The people are friendly and helpful and the (mass) tourism is far to be sought. All in all, it is recommended for rest and authenticity.

The house is very basic furnishings, but you do not need more in good weather. There is a lot of green with a few tables where you can (among other guests) can eat cozy. The pool has a beautiful view of Montone and the other hills around it. We were welcomed very friendly and even could get a bigger house for the same price as it was booked by anyone for that week. The only downside was that (as we had a bottom floor) we could hear the family with kids and dog noise above us well into the bedroom, also "morning very early. But ear plugs do wonders.) The cottage is located a half kilometers from the small but beautiful Montone.'ve Perugia and many small towns that are definitely worth slightly further away. so it is a good base for a de-stressing holiday.

Although the accommodation is simple, not a "luxury" business as oven and dishwasher, and it also was bit dusty, we would recommend t anyway. The location is beautiful, nice seating areas in the garden, nice pool and concerns of Angela, the very caring owner. Nice is that Montone is 3 km away, a walled village on a hilltop medieval small street, and only a small piazza where the residents of Montone also meet.

Just arrived late because of the volcanic eruption in Iceland; owners spontaneously offer extra days to compensate. Beautiful surroundings and Montone is small but nice. Borgo is beautifully located and has a great swimming pool.

We have intensely enjoyed this lovely property. The environment leaves little to be desired, beautiful landscapes with a wide variety of lovely villages and beautiful cities within a reasonable distance. Lake Trasimeno is a real must. Angela is also a most charming woman, nothing is too much for her.

Nice apartment on beautiful location. Montone is a beautiful town within walking distance. Nice garden with pool. The decor and furnishings were a bit jaded and kitchen facilities limited (eg no oven). Internet only available at a point outside the door of someone else.

The house is located under the nice medieval town of Montone. You can get delicious (and cheap!) Drinking coffee at outdoor cafes, (ditto!) Eating in nice restaurants, Umbertide is located nearby, also a nice little town. It is a good starting point for tours in the neighborhood, even larger as Assisi, Perugia, San Sepoloro so on.

What a wonderful place in Umbria! From the warm welcoming reception by Angela let enjoyed (Italian mama, grandma now but every day active in the weather for guests and family) to leave two weeks. Beautiful place in the picturesque village of Montone, calm, swimming pool and good driving distance of the most beautiful places Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Cita di Castello, Spello and more. The reception was very warm and complete in Italian. The friendly owner does not speak English. Do not forget to bring your voucher of Belvilla on paper, which makes communication easier. The mentioned deposit was not necessary for us. The kitchen is complete with bed-, kitchen- and bath linen.The kitchen has a fridge with freezer compartment and a 4-ring stove, and there is no electrical kitchen equipment.The old sofa bed we do not really fit for adults There is no air conditioning, But it stays fairly cool inside. During our stay it was over 40 degrees (usually around 30) and inside it remained well below 30 degrees. The garden is lovely to sit in and eat, but it is shared With other guests The higher temperature and the lack of rain (3 months) had its effect on nature and the garden, so it was not sprayed so everything was dry and dry. Fortunately, there is a large and refreshing swimming pool, but it was time Etc. our visit was not really cleaned. We had cloudy water and attack on our airbeds. There are plenty of beds and umbrellas, so it's good to keep it out. Close by is the village of Montone which is really worth walking through. There is also a small neighborhood suite.
